Just happened to be in the area and passed by this place. Decent size mug of coffee, to kick start our day. My owner ordered the smashed avo, and was delighted when it arrived. Quality and quantity was above the average for establishments in the area. Customer service cheerful and friendly. Might have to talk my owner into coming here more often.

Located just across from Essendon station, this cafe serves excellent coffee and good quality food that is very reasonably priced. I had the vegetable fritters which comes with tomato relish and a poached egg, and my friend had the big breakfast. Absolutely delicious. The dishes were reasonably priced, and sides average $2 - $3. Lots of seats available, and a perfect place to visit for brunch or lunch. This will be a regular brunch spot for me.

Staff were friendly & efficient. They have a breakfast & lunch menu & there’s also a large display with other home made goodies on offer. Today’s selection included arancini, various quiche, sausage rolls & lasagna, sandwiches & salads also made on request.
I come here regularly and couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s very affordable, great food and coffee and the service is fantastic. Looks great with the new renovations too.
Went Saturday morning 10am. So busy but staff were very good and attentive! Stayed for 4+ hours yet staff kept bringing water, so we were very impressed and happy. Ordered the Baked Eggs which was delicious, and the Organic Green juice which was great. Great service and affordable prices. Will definitely return.
Great value prices and good selection of menu items.Had the chicken parma which was on point washed down with good coffee.
Expansion to the premises was needed as it could get a little cramped in there.

I had a strong skinny latte and it was delicious. It had an earthy flavour, nice, bit too hot and it was strong without being bitter.
Definitely worth a visit if you want a good coffee opposite Essendon train station.
Food took a little while, but understandable since my partner and I changed up our orders from the menu quite significantly. In terms of taste, Benny and Me never disappoints. Good on you guys
Great place for brekky... my hubby loved the big breakfast on offer and the avo on toast was delicious! Hubby says best brekky this summer! Oh yes... and the coffee was right up there too.
We had an amazing experience. The food was great and the staff were wonderful. I had the chilli eggs which was very nice. The vibe of the place was great also.
Brunch here today. Tea, coffee, iced coffee, chips, fruit toast and a toasted sandwich. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Coffee and tea were served as asked for. Needed more sauce for chips but should have just asked. Great to see a family running a business. Acoustics not great when busy-- soft furnishing needed?

Came for lunch with grandparents today. Waiters/ staff/ owners were really accommodating.

I visit Benny and Me frequently. I am always accommodated- taste, serving, seating. We also use this cafe for catering at the organisation at which I am employed. Very well received on numerous occasions!
