We saw the Platypus from the viewing platform next to the visitor information centre. Some of the walking trails are less frequented and have overgrown with shrubs. It was still worth the trip out to see the platypus.
Great place to see platypus from viewing platform nearby information centre. Watch for the bubbles in the river to see the platypus!! And be very quiet

We stayed at Broken River Camp Grounds, great location right next to the river, could easily see the platypus in the creek, good bush walks, kiosk serving coffee and cakes, ext, only 5 klm from town of Eungella
