My friends and I were on a girls weekend to Launceston and decided to take a Sunday drive out to Evandale Markets, only to stumble across this gorgeous place and have lunch there. We hadn't a booking but were happy to wait as we could see how beautifully decorated the interior and food looked! At the time they were fully booked but had a phone call to cancel a reservation at the last minute and we were in! We were not disappointed and all ended up having a the beef pot pie with a pint of locally crafted beer and were pleasantly surprised at the flavour and the atmosphere of this quaint pub. Certainly is a must visit for anyone that decides to go to Evandale and I wish we had something of the like in Melbourne! Thank you for squeezing us in, it was the highlight of our trip!

We had just arrived tired and travel worn. The restaurant came highly recommended. The food was delicious and huge portions. The lamb with dhukkah was so tender . The "fat chips" divine. Instead of wine why not try the pagans cherry cider absolutely wonderful. Prices are not pub food prices but then you are not getting pub food. It was a wonderful first night treat. Lovely welcoming staff. Thank you team. PS they have a lovely beer garden too.
