Best kebab or Souvlaki in Australia, left feeling light and fantastic. Love the Nona Maria and grain salad my girlfriend got the Poseidon and she loved it. If I lived in Fitzroy I would be here twenty four seven. Enjoy
Amazing food , always so fresh and delicious. Jimmy grants have the best chips in melbourne. My favourite souvlaki at the moment is the Poseidon.
Good flavours. Veg souvlaki could be better
Felt like eating a good souvlaki last week and decided to go to our usual place (Jimmy grants). It was very quiet on Wednesday evening when we dined in.
Both the souvlakia tasted great - good amount of sauces in them. The fries were a bit too salty for my partner’s liking. I enjoyed the Taramosalata dip..
Overall, consistently yummy tasting souvlakis at this place..
Absolutely to die for. In a back street of Fitzroy, this place beats all other Souvlaki's. A Greek restaurant inspired by George Columbarus is nothing short of sensational. I can't go past the Nonna Maria.
Jimmy Grants is a great restaurant. My favourite meal is the souvlaki. I think Jimmy Grants is one of the only restaurant that has Traditional Greek souvlaki as a meal.

Overall score: 18/25 or ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
in 5 words: the perfect souvlaki in town

Taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - i have tried the nonna Maria (chicken) and bonegilla (chicken and lamb). Both souvs combine well-fried chips, tender and delicious marinated meat and mustard aioli. You don’t feel too thirsty by the end of the meal but you are certainly satisfied. Something about the crunch of the fries and meat combo in a wrap - perfect!
*
Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Beautiful design. Clean and ample seating places.
*
Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - i thought the souv was very value for money and well within most work lunch budgets - ranging between $10-$15
*
Presentation ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - it’s not too messy to eat the souv because of the way it is wrapped. Something I appreciate if I’m having it in office!

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - even when it’s peak lunch hour, service is fast, efficient and friendly. They really yell your name - everyone knows joanne ordered a souv 😂
I've been coming here for lunch with my wife and 5 kids for many years. The food is amazing (and it usually costs under or about $100 to feed the whole family), but the highlight is the service. All staff have been fantastic, but in particular, Alex has been exceptional. Alex remembers us and calls us by our names, which we love and automatically feel like part of the 'Jimmy Grant's family'. The place is always clean and has a really relaxed and cool atmosphere. We love coming here...our family always feels welcome and happy.
Thanks Alex, and the rest of the team.
Overall, a really good place to go out to eat in a place that has awesome food, affordable prices, and is family-friendly.
Love it when you get fresh food done really well. We joined friends for takeaway from Jimmy Grants and selected 3 meats, 2 salads, pita, dips and chips. Good food you can’t go wrong.
Jimmy grants in Fitzroy. Nice Greek style souvlaki restaurant serving nice traditional Greek food. I love the white and blue decorations. Genuine feel like you back to Greece. The signature Mr Papadopoulos lamb souvlaki is a must try. Nice and juicy.
An awesome choice. There's a lot of seating available and plenty of food options inspired on Greek food. Our choice: Eat Like a Greek (2 people).
Jimmy Grants offers a twist on the Ye olde souvlaki! Incorporating a bit of tradition, with including the chips inside, and serving up something different, like the American, made with beef ribs. It was oozing with flavour, to the point where I didn't want it to end. Great atmosphere with bubbly staff, great casual place for a quick bite.
This is the best greek street food I’ve tried in melbourne! very clean and so yummy!!! I loved the nonna maria (chicken wrap) and their chips with feta cheese is to die for!
Good value for money, food came out quickly and of high standard
Had the beef and lamb mix, very tender and well seasoned, the bread is actually the highlight
Really good chicken and lamb souvlaki. Quick service. Defenitely recommend for lunch.
yo-chi frozen yogurt for the night! great for digestion :)
Delicious, well priced, and unique souvlaki. The chips are quite simply amazing, some of the best I've ever eaten, but you have to eat them there; they are nowhere near as good if you take away. The grain salad is fantastic and I'm not usually a salad eater
