An absolute gem of a cafe, serving up fabulous coffee. It's a small space, but it has a lovely modern interior and a warm and cosy ambience.
The staff here are extremely lovely and service is really good. There is a small menu of delicious foods and also sweet treats and pastries available. I've always found the food to be as excellent as the coffee, and they also do a fab takeaway coffee.
My favourite cafe for coffee. batch brews are fantastic and at $3 I feel it’s unbeatable. Food is solid and good value (particularly for the area). The service is excellent.
Definitely the best coffee in the area, consistently spot-on, and the guys are absolute legends too. The atmosphere and set-up of the place makes it great for knocking back a quick coffee or for a longer hang out.
Best coffee in Fitzroy, even better hospitality. The barista greets you by name and will remember your order. There's no charge for strong and the staff always offer up a smile. I don't make it to the neighbourhood often but am always treated like a local. That's pretty rare these days.

Nice little space near the Alexander Parade corner. Very friendly service. Quick too because my tram was coming within minutes. The coffee was lovely, rich and a good price. Cute cups too. I will be back for good at some point.

end of April'18 - went to Blonde for breakfast with boyfriend and dog. There are no tables out the front, just benches. We asked whether we could get a table, but they said they didn't have a permit for it. Hopefully they get one soon! Noticed the food on the menu is very cheap (around $15 for most dishes). We had the cauliflower fritters and the brisket burger. Both were very yummy. They are fairly small portions, but amazingly presented and nice flavours. Very happy with the quality for the price. We paid a bit under A$50 for two breakfast dishes, three coffees and something sweet. I guess they will higher their prices at some stage, but we will definitely be back and try another dish!!

half April'18 - I never understand the rating system as this place only has 4.5 and 5 star reviews and still only comes up as 2.9. I guess there are not enough reviews yet to really have a reliable average, but starting at such a low score makes it harder for new places to attract customers I would say. Would be better to have everyone start at something on the good side of average like 3.5. Anyway, I had a piccolo at Blonde, which was nice. They brought out a glass of water with it too. Didn't see the terrace out the back, or would've gone there as it's in the sun. Good to know it's there so we can go with the doggie. A$4 for piccolo is a bit on the high end I feel. Rated 3.5.
