Little Pink Piggy

Had brunch here with my husband this weekend. It's a little secluded off the main road but well worth the find. The menu is a bit different from usual brekkie places which Iiked. We were seated on a large shared table with a few others but space was a premium here so you have to go with. I ordered the black beans and my partner had eggs on toast with bacon and an iced coffee. Food was quick and delicious. Service was good too. Bill was 45.

Coffee Review:

Great intimate and cozy place for great coffee 🙌 Dog friendly. Have both outdoor and indoor seating. Indoor seating are communal tables and they also offer WiFi. Def a great place for a pick me up coffee! Have yet to try their food here.

Have been here a few times now. The service is always pleasant and the food is exactly what you order. If you're wanting a yummy brunch where you know you wont be disappointed this is always a good choice.

My partner and I get coffee from this place most mornings. Great coffee. It wasy first time eating there though today. Amazing food. Loved the options on the menu. We had the warm moghrabie salad and the black eye beans. Both delicious, so many flavours, and the ingredients went so well together. Great staff and excellent service as well. Highly recommended.

Delicious, interesting, huge breakfasts with a lovely courtyard out back. I would recommend the big breakfast- the variety of mushrooms was a bit unexpected perk and the amount you get was excellent value. The beans and packed eggs were also lovely. Will return- for the taste, value and atmosphere combined.

Totally loved this cafe on all fronts - beautiful space on a sunny Sunday afternoon and great spot to enjoy a yummy coffee and delicious food. We had the smoked salmon bruschetta and the vegan lunch, both were awesome. The rosti are perfectly crunchy and morish.

I've been past this cafe a few times but it's often closed but not today yay!!

And I'm really glad I persisted. I was warmely greeted by a lovely lady who served me a great coffee. I noticed that the milk tasted creamier and I then noticed that they use Jersey milk which does seem to taste better than regular (Friesan) milk and I can digest it better. It's the little things lol

They had good looking crossiants and slices available w a good range of food to order.

This is a homely cafe w big communal tables, newspapers and a relaxed casual inviting atmosphere. Warm air conditioning inside was just perfect on a cold winters day.

Relaxed music adds to the ambience of this place. I'm definitely coming back! And like a number of places now you can have a beer or a wine making it that much more inviting haha

And I've just read that they serve bloody Mary's! Yummm. This place only gets better haha

Comfy Chairs

Been here twice now and will return. Loved the coffee and the avocado bruschetta. Service is friendly and lovely. Small and interesting place that is a huge highlight in Fitzroy. Not to be missed.

Soumendu Ghara

This is our local coffee joint. Have had numerous coffees here. What is good ? Friendly decor, happy staff, good coffee and delicious sandwiches. What else you want ?

Btw, inside they have some secret rooms you can happily spend a few hours in.

Found Min Lokal when we wanted to meet up with some people and there was a wait for Addict (which we should have known). Nice little cafe, friendly staff. The coffee and food were okay, but overpriced. We had the vegan bruschetta and the black eye beans and potato. The dishes looked nice, but I find $16 for some bread with tomatoes and avocado quite expensive. The taste of the dishes was a little blunt. Still a very good option though when other cafes have a wait!

Very tasty breakfast burger and cafe latte. Good service and environment - look for the vines crossing the ceiling. The cafe doubles as a bar and has seating out front complete with fairy lights.

Went there for lunch and had healthy green with grilled chicken which was beautiful, great coffee and very friendly service, love the vibe. Definitely recommend to visit min lokal when you are in fitzroy.

Went here with my friend for sunday arvos lunch. Oh well what a burrito it was and my all time favourite margerita. Cant forget the service they have. Cant wait to come back again👍🏻

Smashed avo was delicious! Coffee was okay but lukewarm/too cold. Cute and cosy cafe vibes, pretty simple, nothing hyper-Melbourne weird or super high-end. I live near here and I will definitely give them another go.

Great find. Great service. Great food. Wide mix of breakfasts from classic bacon and eggs to a warming Nepalese soup with homemade dumplings. They do a great take on egg and soldiers with Vegemite also. Their outdoor area is well thought out and has ceiling fans to stay cool. Thanks to the staff. Eight of us went for a late brunch and we were looked after very well. Highly recommended.

Great little neighbourhood spot. Great coffee, lovely staff, and I highly recommend the Min Chilli Soldiers (poached eggs with chilli oil and sourdough toast for dipping) on a hungover Sunday morning.

Lovely place in a nice quiet street. The brekky burrito was really good - good size and delicious scrambled eggs! Only thing is that the straws for the smoothies are too small. Would be better if you used bamboo straws maybe?

My new fav in Melbs! Great chai, great coffee and great food! Nice ambience cosy casual with big bunches of real flowers on the table and original art on the walls. Staff very personable. Lots of vegetarian options. I had the panko fried halloumi on grilled veges with lots of other deliciousness added. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Hubby had the vege burger built around a potato and beetroot Rostock. Best vege burger he’s ever eaten he reckons. Newspapers on the tables for that catchup weekend read. Highly recommend this lovely cafe.
