Visited this place many times for various occasions and am ecstatic that there has been a change in hands behind the Brasserie! I was about to give up on coming to this place until I found out that the caterers changed hands.
The food used to be very poorly presented and staff inattentive and rude.
At the Brasserie now with the change of hands the food is fantastic, freshly cooked to order and service is amazing! Cannot wait to return and try everything on the new menu!
Definitely worth coming down for the drive and enjoying a meal here.
I was at Canada Bay Club a couple of nights ago for a dance party but a group of us had dinner beforehand.
I had salmon which was absolutely delicious. The food was ready reasonably quickly & the drink waiter delivered my drink in a blink of an eye.
The venue is gorgeous & the staff are all really nice.
Love going there every week for my weekly Ceroc dance class where I also have an awesome roast dinner for only just over $10.
I highly recommend this venue.
An absolutely cavernous Chinese restaurant set inside Canada Bay club. Very old school menu that was well done, and professional but friendly service. BIG servings. A great place for four or five generation family outings as it will be guaranteed to please young and old.
A family favourite!. Have been coming here for years! Food is always exceptional with good sized portions. Some staff can't speak great English but make up for it with great service. The vegegetable chow mein, Hong Kong beef and Mongolian Lamb are always hits!
Mr Wing flys high above the others. This is what Club Chinese food should be like! if it wasn't for the decor of the club (bad lighting and club operated cash and carry bar) this restaurant would give Sydney's Chinatowns big players a run for their money. Food is fresh, tasty and quick. Prices are reasonable and servings are a generous size. Always happy to return here for family events
Delicious food (particularly the peking duck pancakes) and the wait staff were SO friendly. Such good service! Will be back!!
Friendly staff, large portions & fast service at a reasonable price.
It has a nice Chinese restaurant, a bistro, and a gaming area that kids can play in. Prices are reasonable and they are a good place to have a staple night out meal with the family.
I discourage going to the bistro on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday because it can be quite busy those days. The food and drink is usually consistent, and I enjoy a good pizza, pasta, burger, or steak and chips at the bistro.
The Chinese restaurant staff are quite friendly and it is a much quieter space upstairs so I recommend that over the bistro. Tuesday is a good day to go :). Drinks staff are friendly too.
Went here for a Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration. Bring an ID if you are not a member and you leave more than 5 km away from the place.
My order was Chicken Boscaiola. The grilled chicken is from the breast part which was okay. The sauce brought everything together for the dish. The amount of chips was also okay. For the price, it was a bit on the high side but I guess that should be expected.
I had a birthday party there recently. It was held in The William Room and included 70 guests. Caroline and Luciano, who helped me organise the event, were very helpful and professional. The staff on the night were friendly, respectful and well-presented. Thank you for helping make my event so enjoyable.
Great place to have a function The food in the bistro was fantastic it also has very good poker machine area and has plenty room to relax if you don't feel like playing the machines
Baysia, the Chinese restaurant within the Canada Bay Club:
Attentive service by a very friendly team of staff! Our group of six enjoyed all of our meals (San Choy Bow, crab, Short Soup, Combination w garlic... and more). The food was delicious! The atmosphere was lively and comfortable; and the place was well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our evening here and look forward to dining here again soon.
