It’s been a long time since I’ve actually had Hot Star and I can say that the quality has definitely improved by a lot! The chicken is extremely tender and juicy, and the outside batter is super crispy and flavourful. It’s not overly oily either, which is a big plus! A very reasonable price for its size (yes, it is LARGE).
It’s a small stall, with only one staff member so service can get a bit slow. However, it’s worth the wait as you get fresh, crispy chicken made to order.

Tastes once when I was in Taiwan and this is very close to it. The chicken is massive and it took two people to finish. I loved it and highly recommeded
New Hotstar store for the Westside! Finally! They chicken pieces are so huge and tasty! Everything made fresh! Polite and kind staff that give me lots of suggestion! Will be back for sure.
