Nothing beats their fried chicken! Love the portion and size of the fried chicken and how they pack it so well so you can have them on the go without getting messy
I would usually order them and have it on the go, its always nice and crunchy and its absolute happiness in every bite
It’s been a long time since I’ve actually had Hot Star and I can say that the quality has definitely improved by a lot! The chicken is extremely tender and juicy, and the outside batter is super crispy and flavourful. It’s not overly oily either, which is a big plus! A very reasonable price for its size (yes, it is LARGE).
It’s a small stall, with only one staff member so service can get a bit slow. However, it’s worth the wait as you get fresh, crispy chicken made to order.
Super fresh chicken. The best thing? There’s no long lines at the footscray franchise store. I get the spicy flavoring. The chicken was fresh and the batter is always amazing
