Very good food. We had Ginger noodles with big prawns, Yong Tau Too with Black bean paste, pig Stomach Soup with Szechuan peppers, steamed coral Trout and Cantonese beef. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

We love this good old fashioned restaurant that serves authentic Malaysian cuisine with a smile!

The food here is reminiscent of the dishes available in Malaysian Chinese restaurants. The raw fish salad had generous amounts of fresh salmon. We loved the hard-to-find taro ring and red bean pancakes. The perfectly cooked prawns nestled on a bed of noodles was well prepared and tasted amazing.

The portions were generous and my MSG radar did not detect any major problems. All in all, a lovely experience.

I often get take away for my wife and I after us shiftworkers work all day Sundays. Have never had a bad experience. Shangri La is the best Chinese/Malaysian Restaurant in the area by a long long way. Service is always good and reasonably quick, meals hot and tasty. All good at this Gem of a place.
