The ambience is absolutely spot on .. it's like a hidden place in the heart of Freo. The place has an amazing charm.. it has seating style for all sort of familys couple kiddos .. you name it and there is space for everyone ..
We did brekky ... Banana pancake 5/5 hands down winner .. Potato Cake was amazing.. they put a red chutney/sauce sort of stuff .. that was a bomb it held the dish so well together any day I would order them without a second thought.. The Mexican brekky ... now that didn't tingle my tastebuds as expected.. Jalapenos were promised but where missing .. I couldn't find much zing in it..
Obviously my accomplices where all over my plate to dissect and find if am right .. and yes hands down they said my palate has issues.
Next the coffee and chai.. we tried flat white and it was a full 5/5 .. Chai Latte was the highlight reason everywhere we have been we get the standard chai latte powder mixed chai.. this had some real whole spices .. the taste was a bit light but it was really good...
We walked out with full bellys and an amazing smile .
Love this place...!! Really funky vibe, staff a great... haven't had a lunch here but several breakfast and the jalapeno and lime hollandaise is the best thing ever...!!! Highly recommend getting in there for that
Lovely historic building setting. Busy so a bit of a wait for the coffees but delicious food. Eggs cooked exactly right as was the haloumi. The kids all enjoyed their meals too especially the hot cakes. Toasted Turkish bread was really good!
The food here was wonderful!! And the coffee was just as good if not better. Decent serving sizes for what you pay. I’ll be back for sure
Cold winter morning but the courtyard with leaves everywhere still looked good. Glad to see an old friend still around. Had a large flat white, fine, and poached eggs with a large helping of bacon. Well done and the soft bread worked well.
I love the cafe! Great ambiance. But the servings are really small for the price

Fantastic restaurant, wonderful staff. The selection on the menu was varied, we went with the set and had a fantastic selection of dishes. The food was beautiful and great vibe in the place.

When you think you're almost finished there's more and more there to go. Serving great coffee in a hipster, cool setting in bubbly Fremantle. Well worth the visit
Venue is divine, super stunning. Love the art gallery space and dining area. Didn’t love the take away counter and where it’s located. Worst location as staff and patrons are walking through or trying to order. Food was divine.
Brilliant food and coffee! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and decor. Only fault is that the place is so busy that the coffee comes out a little late with food...but a busy cafe' is a good sign, so that's just being nit-picky.
If you want a quiet relaxing place to chill out, with plenty to look at, this is your place. Especially on a sunny day! Took the doggo here too, which is always a plus for us. The menu was good, food good, but the most interesting are the bakery items on offer. If you have a food intolerance, or are vegan, this is the place for you! Plenty on offer for carnivores like me too :)
