Great place for a beer, a feed and to catch some high quality live music. The best of local, national and international acts. Clancys are massive supporters of local muSicians and do so much for the Wa music scene. One of the best family pubs around with a huge open grasses area out the back too.
I am surprised by previous reviews after I met friends here for my first ever visit.
They have 3 young boys with very healthy appetites!!! I had the salt and pepper squid and although I didn't taste much salt and pepper it was fresh and tasty and a very ample serving. Everyone finished their meals but I actually had to leave some, it was so filling.
Atmosphere was lovely and staff were friendly. I will definitely return�
Also impressed with responses to poor ratings as it shows management cares about customers.
Had our little work xmas lunch at Clancy's today in the 38c heat. Good food and quick service. 14 meals arrived at the table within 15 to 20 mins. Fish taco was delicious but could do with some dressing on the slaw.
Great place, great vibe and definitely not racist like one reviewer has mentioned (she sounds a bit nutty). Went Friday night, sat outside, ordered the quite unique parmi (with egg and gravy added) and the fish and chips. Both came out efficiently despite a busy crowd. Good value meals, and the drinks and music make for a fantastic night out. Recommend!
Had the seafood platter for two last Saturday. Delish! Great service, relaxed atmosphere, yummy food. Have been before and will be back for sure :)
Came here for dinner on Sunday night! The music was quite loud inside so we sat out! Awesome location and plenty of seating. Extensive menu and accomodating to menu changes. Worth a visit for a chilled Sunday arvo!
Best chilli mussels I've ever had😍 the hottest, good amount, no uncooked or empty shells! I would highly recommend to literally everyone to eat here!
Love the vibe of this place. It's casual, inviting, cosy and you can listen to a live band while enjoying a nice meal and sipping on a drink. The open space at the back is great on a warm day. Food is consistently good. Fish and chips is my go to which has crispy batter without being oily.
The local. Hard to find any place more authentic than this & beats anything on the Fremantle Strip. Great food & tap selection, super chill & friendly staff. Battered Feta Fingers are the one.
Entertainment plus! Staff friendly and vibrant, food average. Had a fantastic night with sea shanty music, the only mark down was the food. We had a seafood platter, squid was outstanding, the mussels not too bad, the prawns definitely not fresh and not cleaned, tasted powdery, means old frozen stock, crayfish well well well done and dry, fish was over cooked and bordered burnt. Perhaps an off night or the actual chefs night off being a Monday, still we had a great time and will come back..... just not order the seafood platter again 😊
Managed to have a little catch-up with some girlfriends over the weekend and was so glad that it was dog friendly.
Service was great, staff was warm and friendly, food was on point!
Only compliant would be that they ran out of chilli muscles (they were low on stock and only had enough to make the share platters)! Otherwise, food was really good and would definitely come back again!
When there is live music playing this place goes off! I love the food here and it's a really good place to catch up with mates at. Good great
