Came here on a Saturday night and had the family platter. It was good but the service was better. I reached home and found out that i had left my wallet at the restaurant. I called them to check if it was still there and it was:) so glad the employees were honest. Thank you so much:)
Share platter was amazing value. Loved it very busy but not much wait on mothers day
Loved the pepper squid here! My always go to order❤️ It’s always fresh and I love the chips aswell.
Location is good .view is superb.the banana cake tastes very good..
Cicerellos is consistent and never disappoints, really enjoyed the hoki fish and chips, loved that I could grab vinegar and chicken salt for the table.
Its a touristy spot with touristy food. so obviously it will be a little different to our usual fish and chips shop.
If you are a tourist you will find it reasonable in comparison of the surrounding restaurants with hiked up prices for simple meals. you can get away with a 20$ meal where you will at least be full, maybe not fully satisfied but nonetheless full after walking around fremantle for an hour or two.
If you are a local, you might not like this place because well, its "touristy" so either accept the fact that it is and support it. or save your fish and chips appetite for your local fish and chips shop and do harm to yourself or these tourist fish and chips shops in the area. because seriously if we keep closing down our own restaurants, tourists will have nothing to visit or to eat.
HUGE portion of chilli mussels. Fish and chips were not bad fish held together and was not flaky. Prices a little on the high side as it is a bit of a touristy location. Overall a decent place for lunch if in Fremantle.
Went on Easter Monday, was quite busy and crowded. Service was pretty quick and got my food quickly. Order fish and chips and a seafood basket, both tasted quite decent. Would love to try the chilli crab and mussels next time.
The quintessential Fremantle Fish and Chippery. Charming old building with a well cared for aquarium. It IS more expensive than your suburban equivilant, sure. Today I paid $41 for what was a modest lunch for two, but it is always quality. The service is efficient and the staff usually very friendly. I’ve been coming here since I was very young and I’ll continue to until I’m very old. Never change Cicerello’s. Never change
This is the where to go spot if you are looking for a good seafood in freo even perth. Always crowded which mean a lot people like it. The main thing about seafood is it freshness. And here it always turn up fresh. And good ambience. Located by the wharf is always an extra to eat seafood and looking at the sea at the same time. Taste of the foods are amazing. Several time goes there and the quality keep steady. As good as always
Seafood of your choice and more. Fish and chips is a given but why limit yourself so we had grilled mackerels/ sardines, clams and calamari. Had it by the harbour enjoying the view, careful that the birds do not swoop upon our meals. Nice ambiance, fast service, good food, a bit pricey though.
Clam chowder was by far the most delicious items on the menu, however the the fish and chips and mussels were pretty average. Very touristy with a nice waterfront view (sit outside when the weather is nice!). Very busy on weekends.
Dinner on a Sunday night to avoid the crowd, food was good as always, we ordered heaps but mainly were just there for the fish and chips and of course the view. Fish was fresh and chips were amazing ☺️
Returned to Cicerello's for fish and chips with the family on a cold and rainy day. Very pleasant to be indoors out of the cold. It was extremely busy with no spare tables inside, but it was only a few minutes for a table to become free.
The fish and chips were superb. Even my fussy eater grandson eagerly ate all of his. The scenery outside- harbour with boats and all the other old wooden buildings, the beach- just beautiful. Fast service- the food was on the table within 10 minutes of ordering. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere befitting a waterfront seafood restaurant, delicious fish and chips, superb chowder, good prices, unbeatable views. We'll be back.
"No.1 Fish & Chips in WA" is perhaps a bit of an overreach.... I had traditional battered Fish and chips and it was well, pretty much like most other traditional fish and chips I've had in the past. Hit the spot, nice thin crunchy batter, the fish flaked apart abit so seemed fresh.. albeit a little bit oily and if eating outside be prepared for a higher ratio of seagulls to people...
Great portions, great staff. I needed extra cups and plates and the staff was so helpful.
Sauce was a bit manky but the rest was amazing.
Haven’t been here for years, but thought I’d give it a crack again while the bro was in town (bringing back memories from when we were kids!). Really nice chips and such a good location. Super cool having all the different types of fish in the tanks too. The kids love working out which ones are which. Overall, a nice drop off in Freo .. good work cicerellos 🙌
Chips tasted better than fish😅 and sauce isn’t enough for meal. I don’t think it’s best fish and chips in WA. But it’s nice at price though.
Went here for lunch today had the fish platter with lobster battered fish mussels and prawns. Food was good and it’s got a nice view over the boats.
