Nice reno's on the old Valley Inn indeed.
Went in for a feed tonight, can't fault it at any point. Ordered and got a pint, was maybe half way through it when the food arrived, great turn around from order to eating. Got a Parmi with Garlic Sauce on the side (no, really, make sure you order the Garlic Sauce. A friend recommended the Valley Inn on the back of it and it did not disappoint!). Generous portions, piping hot, reasonable price, friendly bar and wait staff.
I've seen a couple of "not the best sports bar" and i can understand the complaint, but if your after that sort of sports pub i'd be recommending Sporting Globe.

Great service, fantastic meals. They even looked after the little ones giving them colouring books and pencils while we waited for our meals which wasn't a long wait. Highly recommend and will be back.
The service was excellent and the venue is beautiful. The beef vindaloo was very tasty the rice had big lumps through it though. The Flat Head was dry and the salad only consisted of lettuce with no dressing. Overall was ok and yes I would come back

This old style pub is one of the best I've been to.The food is Great and served well. One dish I recommend is the Super Mixed Grill.I think any fans of mixed grills will love this.Served with Egg,Steak,Bacon,Hamsteak,veg and I think more you have gotta try this.I love this place and think that everyone in Geelong have got to go here. ;)
Went to the Valley before the Geelong Sydney game, food was nice and the frothies were cold. Would recommend for good pub grub. They did have a limited footy menu on the day
Great value for money!!. Been here a few times. Hubbies favourite is lamb shanks and parmi.. I've had the prawns and kids spag was very tasty. A little dated and prices went up not that long ago but overall great value for money...
Can always count on a good pub meal here.. good for the family and even better for the dad who likes to punt while tucking in to an $11 parmy .. also love the old school slice of buttered white bread with every meal :D

Mensday Evening at The Valley Inn. The 3rd edition of Mensday Evening ventured to The Valley Inn for a chin wag, few pots and a feed. It was a busy night in; given the grand final of a local pool competition, which meant that the meals took a little while to present. This wasn't an issue though as the staff had thoughtfully posted a sign a the counter advising that meals would be around 40 mins - but to our surprise were only 30. Steaks were the food of choice and could only be described as spot on. The half slice of bread on the side was the toast of the evening and something that is sorely missed from good pub grub.
For punters, the venue would be high on the list of must go hotels in Geetroit, but for eating, we would have preferred not to have sat below the Bendigo dogs.

Wow! This place is definitely worth a visit for Sunday lunch. 18 meals and every single one was perfect! All the food came out together, no one was waiting for their meal. Ollie was our waiter and he was fantastic. Plates and glasses were cleared without a fuss. I am so full! Cannot speak more highly of this bistro. So, if you want a decent place to have a function, the Sunday lunch kitchen crew are amazing. You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I take our grandson for dinner every Thursday. The staff are exceptional and just so friendly and welcoming. Keeley is a pure delight. We often have our family get togethers here as we find its child friendly and such a happy vibe and the meals are always delicious.

We always elect to sit in the bar but they have a dining area.

Toilets are always clean.
Had a lovely lunch. Chicken schnitzel was delicious.

Great meal decent portion ,variety on the menu something for everyone food cooked just great and staff very friendly ,and cold beer ,telly to watch the footy what more can one want will be going again soon
