HI Guys, Just want to say I had the Chicken and sweet corn soup for lunch today and it was sensational, it was hot, had real chicken, and had a nice kick to it... I have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work. Cheers
In love with this place! Cozy and homey vibes, unique concept with a mixed of store and cafe. Not a big place, only few tables but they have some more tables in outdoor area. Tried their waffle with ice cream and chocolate sauce, salad and iced latte. Simple food but tasty, great coffee with affordable price. Kilgour is such a hidden gem, theyâre located in a housing area, so itâs quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff as well. Currently my favorite brunch spot in Geelong.
A very homely place, well setup with a few tables and chairs. Friendly and helpful people running the place. Amazing coffee, croissants and Turkish bread.
Great coffee and friendly atmosphere! Their food is pretty good, i had the Mexican breakfast - I didn't expect so many corn chips lol. Maybe adding some guacamole and sour cream / an egg would make it better. All round good vibes :)
I've had take away lunch a few times from here and every time I have been 100% satisfied, today's BBQ chicken and Kim chi roll was definitely a winner one of the better pieces of bread I've had (mad props to the baker or bakery) and the girls are always welcoming and super good at making coffee! Can not fault.
A neat and inviting cafĂŠ and grocer that supports local artisan producers. The small a la carte menu is augmented by a good range of pre-made sandwiches and rolls, pies and sausage rolls. Everything looks very fresh and tasty. I had the pre-made BBQ chicken and kim chi roll â the sweetish BBQ sauce well contrasted by the salt/vinegar kim chi. Bilby Blue thoroughly enjoyed the Kilgour Mexican Bowl, although the promised roast capsicum salsa had been replaced by a tomato chutney which didnât quite work.
The Coffee here is great, along with the food and friendly staff. Super handy to have a decent Grocer within walking distance of my house.Â

Best coffee I have had in Geelong. Great place to get a quick takeaway lunch. Great sandwiches, friendly service, a regular spot of mine. Highly recommended.
This place is so busy ! I think im actually in love with their chicken/cranberry rolls & the caramel slice. They do great meatballs, reuben, blt toasties, etc. I love to see a salad or even a wrap as i feel so guilty eating so much carb. However, the guilt passes pretty quick as they just taste so good.
Friendly and welcoming hidden little gem. Love the coffee!! Gluten free salted caramel slice is a favourite. My go-to coffee place... And I'm fussy!
A little piece of heaven. A light filled haven tucked away in the edge of mainstream Geelong. The food is downright amazing. Great decor. Friendly welcoming staff and patrons are too! I love it. They do it well
Massive hipster decor but so what it's really nice. The staff here are very friendly and the food is delish. I always go for the chicken salad sarnie or tuna melt, I haven't tried any other food here so can't comment. The desserts always seem overpriced, but this place would have more hipsters in it than a turtleneck warehouse if it was in Northcote. The coffee is fine but it's the vibes that bring you back.
I regularly visit Kilgour St Grocer with friends for brunch and coffees as it's a local and consistently reliable spot for good quality meals. Nice atmosphere, trendy aesthetic and vibes in a nice location. Always handy for parking if youâre not walking there.
Great coffee and yummy meals, with quite a good selection of vegan options all at affordable prices. Can be slightly slow in service if the place is busy but this would be expected.
Worth a stop if youâre in the area, particularly if youâre after vego/vegan meals.
Happy to serve me my fav Shultz milk and la MadrĂŠ bread after closing time. Well stocked shelves and groovy staff.
We popped into Kilgore St Grocer on our travels through Geelong. Wanted to visit this cafe last year but couldnât get a spot inside so fave up and went elsewhere. Busy for a Monday lunchtime they offered coffees and drinks and cabinet food which they were able to heat. I had a crumbed chicken with cheese and garlic aioli in a bun toasted while KD enjoyed her halumi version of the same with a nice beetroot, onion chutney. Ice coffees were authentic and my larger one had a double shot which gave it nice strength without the sweetness.
Kilgour St Cafe have a great thing going! Awesome experience from exploring the little grocery goods, homeware, amazing sausage rolls and take away coffee.. Just recently had the Sunday waffles too and was super tasty! So stoked to be walking distance to this gem :)
Great coffee and light meals. Shop attached has variety of cute homeware and local produce. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.
