Grabbed a quick coffee on the run this afternoon to sustain me on my drive back to the country. Thanks to the charming young women who served me - she truly understands the concept of hospitality. What a pleasure!

My partner and I have had take away from beans and we've always loved it! Today we came to the cafe for the first time and now love it even more! The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing (we love the toasted museli and the brick & mortar). The coffee is our favourite in the area and everything is well priced! We will continue to come back here! Amazing food and great service. The staff are super friendly, even sung happy birthday to my fiance and placed a candle in her breakfast. We have been twice and both times we have been very impressed. We will continue to go here and recommend it to our friends!!
Beans Republique has very cheap high teas. We ordered the $29 high tea, and we found that we got a lot of food so it was very well valued. We did notice that a few scones were missing but once we mentioned it they got us more. We also ran out of jam and after we asked for more jam, instead of putting it in the container they just gave us the sachets.
The highlight for me were definitely the sandwiches and the chocolate mousse.
I would highly recommend going to this high tea. Also if you are going to make a booking please be aware that you got to pay for every single person that you booked for. If one doesn't turn up on the day you will still need to pay for it. This wasn't explained to me in person when I booked so it was quite a surprise!! Fortunately everyone turned up 😅
Really nice place. The food is fresh and tasty. The pancakes were light, fluffy and not too sweet as the fruit made up for that. The coffee was just as I ordered and the service was exceptional. Will definitely go again. Range is great and unusual which is what you want.
Came here for high tea with 7 diners around Sat lunch time. Amazing value for money! For just $20 each we received a tea/ coffee each (mind you the teapots come with enough for 3 cups of tea!), sausage rolls, rice paper rolls (which were delish!), savoury sandwiches, some of the best scones I've ever had, and some tasty slices/ cakes. In the city you'd pay $45-$70 for something similar. We are big eaters, and we couldn't finish all the food they served us! Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
Regularly venture to this cozy venue. The service is always bubbly and pleasant. The food, coffee and cakes are delicious. Shame about the U2 over the speakers, but can't win them all I guess. 😜
This lovely cafe has seriously got there shit sorted......big time. The joint family business venture for this Aussie/Vietnamese family really has paid off for us customers, because can this family cook!!!!!!!!!!!!! This friendly family bake to a level that we have not experienced before. The gourmet sausage rolls/pies/pasties/lamb pasties are big and are absolutely beautiful, plus the Pasta Bakes are the best pasta bakes I've ever eaten by far. But you know what makes this cozy place so good to eat at, the fact that it is a family business and they take a lot of Pride in their food and the presentation of their food and have a lot of respect for their Patrons. We were going to kidnap this family and lock them in our basement so they can cook for us whenever we want some top notch food but it's not politically correct to do that, however all jokes aside it's the best cafe I've ever eaten at in Australia ( actually the world ) and this is a real review too.

I love everything about this place. The coffee, the all-day breakfast, the service and the speediness.
I have visited Beans Republique approximately four times over the last year, and have always been happy with my skinny latte, which is neither too creamy nor too strong. I almost always order the 'Benny' with the poached eggs cooked to my liking with delicious pear-infused hollandaise, sauteed spinach and crispy bacon.
The portion sizing is just enough to satisfy my stomach, and the wait staff are great in offering suggestions based on their menu. I know I will be a regular customer at Beans Republique as long as it remains in business. I have introduced both my partner and friend to this cafe and will not hesitate in recommending it to others.

We had a High Tea bridal shower event at Beans Republique today. It was absolutely fantastic. Best cafe in Melbourne! The food and drink was amazing and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Thank you so much for such a wonderful event. Highly recommend you go here!
Nestled in Glen Iris, Beans Republique is a hidden gem that every Melburnian must give a try at.
We came as a group of 7, and all found the experience to be very enjoyable. The service was impeccable as our servers were friendly and made sure we were all settled in.
The food was incredible as well. Not only did it taste amazing, it was also beautifully plated - making it a treat for both the eyes and the mouth. My personal favourite was the 'Eiffel Tower' which offered a great balanced between savoury and sweet.
The coffee and drinks served were also really well done, and reasonably priced.
Would highly recommend, and definitely will be coming back again soon.
I’ve been here 3 times now and loved it every time! The food is great and some of the best coffee I’ve had, the vibes are super cozy inside as well and the staff are super friendly!

Gem of a place - excellent food and coffee, gorgeously helpful staff, cosy and very reasonably priced. Found that staff were very quick, attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious. Will be back !
This place does really good coffee. The coffee is first rate. The service is charming and the food good too. And so is the price. So if you want good food and excellent coffee at a reasonable price, this is the place.
