I had to find a place where to celebrate a special occasion with a group of 50 people and they had been very kind, available for every need. They provided for us a great menu, served by beautiful people and an amazing place! I recommend this restaurant!

My first time to Sammys at Glenelg with a party of 5 ladies.
Well the location is great no complaints there - we were met by a lovely waitress who seated us. After looking thru the menu we decided on an Aussie platter and started with a bottle of champers - 1 of 2.
There wasn't a long wait before these platters arrived and were placed on towers keeping them up and off the table (great idea). Bubbles poured we started on our feast and a feast it was. It was delicious seafood bursting out every where!! Nothing was over cooked and cold selection fresh.
It was the best seafood I've had in Adelaide I thoroughly enjoyed my meal -the bubbles were constantly topped up - staff young and friendly girls. It was a great dining experience well worth the price.

I haven't been here for a few years, it is such a great location. I ordered crispy skin salmon and it was delicious. Looking forward to coming back next time i am in town
Visited Adelaide second time in Jan 2016 for attending a friend's birthday. Visited this place along with her and her family. Superb place! Such picturesque location with an outdoor seating is like an icing on the cake. The rates are reasonable too. Had Garlic Scampi (Grilled Scampi served with garlic and white wine cream sauce). Wonderful taste. Although struggled in taking out the flesh from the shell with the help of utensil they provided.
To talk about the location, you are just beside the sea and if you're lucky enough, you can see dolphins as well. The airport is nearby and nice view of planes taking off and landing can be seen as well. Dusk time is the best to be there as we can see the transition from daylight to dark and the lights glow up.
Lovely spot for a fancy seafood dinner. We had the Sammy seafood sharer...wow it was big! The prawns were amazing, scallops nicely flavoured, fresh oysters and mussels...tasty soft Shelly crab...peppery calamari and whitehead fish. Expensive but you certainly get your money's worth! Great food with amazing scenery.

Staff very helpful, told us what the dips were rather than just dumping them on the table with a smile and little else.
Great service and excellent seafood. Worth the visit . Good range of SA wines and fresh seafood . Pleasant outlook. Easy to reach by tram from CBD.
Great service, great meal. After reading all the comments I was nervous to come here, but the service was great, meals were quick, and food was amazing. (Quite expensive, but very filling). Would definitely return
