Love this place! Best Japanese in Nobbys. Always super fresh Sashimi and the best nasu dengaku. Lovely service and there lunch specials are amazing value
Impressive place with great atmosphere and a vast range of dishes and drinks. We held a team dinner night at Hachi after it was recommended to us by a friend, and it didn't disappoint.
Nested in the popular Nobby Beach strip, this funky Japanese restaurant produced some delicious dishes at very affordable prices, and the staff were fantastic on a busy Saturday night which included a large table of 20+ near us.
The highlights were the Lemon Chicken & gyozas, but you couldn't go wrong with any of the selections here. Cool narrow set up with seating also out the front, and a great atmosphere especially on busy nights! Brilliant!
Following seven years in Palm Beach, Nam Sukhyum has opened a second Hachi in Nobby Beach, adding variety to the already popular highway front strip. It’s an ambient space with its two-piece floating ceiling and smart bar, the open kitchen showing off the chefs hard at work... Hachi is casual, comfortable and stylish; a very pleasant place to meet up with friends or to enjoy a good value dinner for two.
Absolute perfect Japanese just as it should be. Incredible service by Yuka who guided my party through a beautiful menu. Totally blown away by the food, service and experience. Go there!
Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time. The staff and chefs were friendly and attentive. Their drinks menu included a nice variety of Japanese alcohols. The restaurant had a warm, cozy feel to it. I was able to just walk in but I’d recommend booking a table in advance if planning on dining more than two people. My Agedashi Cheese was surprising light but full of flavour. The Chicken Katsu Don ticked all the right boxes and came with more rice than I realised. I will definitely be back in the future, and next time I’ll come properly prepared with an emptier stomach!
We went there for dinner with friends. Our friends have been there several times. They said the foods quite nice so we went there to try. I like their Agedashi tofu and stir fried pork with sweet miso sauce. So many choices to choose from. Service is quite good as well. If you are looking for the cheap meal, I don't recommend. We will come back for more...👍
Great food and vibes. Come here fairly often, sometimes the service can be super quick and efficient and other times I’m left waiting for a menu or having to call for missing items but I understand that it’s a family run business and also such a hotspot and can get busy. Can’t fault the food, always so delicious.
Hachi is our local Nobby's gem. Always friendly efficient service, cold tap beer, and high quality produce. I have so many favourites, but always order Salmon Carparcio, Chicken Nam Ban, agedashi tofu. Great atmosphere with kids, friends or a date.
