My go to loval ramen place. Really good. Thank you. <3
Great place for a bowl of ramen
Went here recently with a few friends. Located just outside of Hoyts so I good place to go to eat before or after seeing a movie.
They have a very interesting way in how you order your food. You get given a menu & a piece of paper to write down what you want, then you have to go to the counter to order & pay for it.
We ordered;
- spring rolls
- gyozas
- salmon sashimi don
- Yasai Tofu Ramen
- Charcoal Beef Ramen
The spring rolls were nice, the dipping sauce was great. The gyozas were nothing special. They were good but nothing mind blowing. The salmon sashimi don was quite filling & tasted good, only thing we didn’t like were the fish eggs (I think that’s what they were). The Yasai Tofu Ramen was good, once again nothing special but it was still nice. The charcoal beef ramen was good. The beef was delicious & there was a lot of it too.
Overall if you are in the area & craving ramen, go here. It definitely ticks all the boxes just don’t expect to be mind blown from it.
One of my favourite Japanese joints; the ramen's good here but even better are the entrees and other selection of dishes. Some of the dishes we have tried and enjoyed here are the Buta Ramen, pork gyoza, yakitori, spicy ebi and miso soup. Hearty, delicious and really flavourful.
Their spicy volcano sauce saves the day! What a kick! It was chilli but definitely added a lot more flavour to our ramen. Ramen was so generous and delicious! Loved it!
Always come here for late lunch. Beautiful every time. The restaurant kept very good food standard. Not many shifted flavour based on when I ordered either eat in or take away.
Recommended Gyutan Don (Spicy Ox tongue) - not in the picture because I always finished it before get a chance to take pics😂
I really like this restaurant, to the point where I bring my mother here who also enjoys the food here despite being of Japanese decent, having had eaten the best ramen on earth. The ramen here is the closest to authentic Japanese ramen I’ve had in Melbourne so far!

I’ve been here many, many times and keep on returning. The staff are superstars and the food quality is wonderfully steady and fresh. Highly recommend you visit here for the ramen, soba noodles or sashimi. All so so good!
Had the chashu Ramen. Pork belly was overcooked. CBD ramen is better but can’t really complain for a suburban shopping centre diner food, hence the four stars.
Quite a good place for non authentic but delicious Japanese food. The vegetarian udon had huge pieces of silky tofu while the curry on rice was savoury and filling.
It's not a huge place so it can get quite busy at peak times. Service varies a lot but tends to lean towards the no frills side.
Definitely worth checking out.
I used to really love coming here every week, the food is amazing, the staff is friendly, nice and organized. The place is small but always crowded.
I've only been here once but its everything I wanted and more. Service is fairly basic and ordering is done by order sheets you fill in yourself but if you can accept this it is 5/5.
