What a little gem, start with the negative. The place could use a spring clean but..... that’s the only downside. The food is a massive wow!!! Taste, friendliness, product quality and freshness ++++ wish I had found this place earlier. We shared 3 donner Kebabs. Chicken, lamb and mix... best in Melbourne.. possibly best I have ever had. Use good quality meat and chicken breast not that minced terrible stuff other place use. Very happy customer..
Service with a friendly smile. I had the mixed grill and it was delightful. The meat was simply delicious, would definitely recommend to me friends, family and colleagues
Best falafel kabab i've ever eaten. The falafel is made in house and the mixture of the vegies and HUMMOUS is to die for.
I don't live near here but it's worth the drive.
My only criticism is that I ate it too quickly. Fresh salads, tasty lamb shish and velvety rice make Arto's an easy choice when you're in the mood for Turkish.

The kebabs are great, fresh meat and made fresh. Arts there and always good for a chat.
I love the chicken with chili sauce, the mixed kebab is good too.
Just about as good as a takeaway kebab can get. Home made bread stuffed with tasty tender lamb. Shop is clean and service is friendly and efficient.

The lamb, chicken, and beef kebab are cooked over flame grill to absolute perfection, they're aromatic, delicious, and melt in your mouth tender. Served on Middle Eastern fragranced rice with a side of yoghurt, chilli and a generous salad - it never ever disappoints. The food at Arto's is flavoursome, always fresh and served with a smile. Absolute surprise. We travel from Albert Park to have Artos. The Shish grill is my favourite. The shish kebab is also delicious; the seasoning, bread and freshness is perfect.
Each time we come we try something new and each time it's fabulous. From the kebabs (soooooo tender) to the kofte and fresh salads. And the secret seasoning on the bread is just delish. One of our favourite places for dinner. Consistently excellent food. I challenge you to find a more tender lamb shish - I LOVE the lamb shish grill. Best in town, state, country?
You know you're onto a good thing when you keep seeing the same faces always coming back for more. This place is a local gem, everything made on site and great taste.
He told my boyfriend it would be the best kebab he'd ever eat, and he was right. Best kebab I have ever had the pleasure of eating too. Amazing vegetarian options, highly recommend the zucchini fritter kebab. Packed with flavour, price reasonable to size and how full it leaves you. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Artos.
A little bit expensive Kebab - $12 for about medium size. But it's worth! The kebab is tasty and the meat is fresh & spicy!
My partner and I popped in at about 11pm on a Tuesday night as nothing else was open and I was assured by the proprietor that they had the best doner kebabs in Melbourne. A tall order I thought, but he was quite right! Absolutely delicious! The meat beautifully cooked and other ingredients and seasoning fresh and well balanced. Not oily in the least, which particularly impressed me; these kebabs don’t make you feel guilty for eating them. On the whole, very impressed and will definitely be returning! Thank you!

The meat is plentiful and nicely seasoned, the bread is freshly made, as are the sauces, and the whole combination is great together. I made the mistake of ordering chips once and now I can't help but order them every time, they're lovely.
The owner is passionate about Turkish food and very hardworking (he always seems to be there when I go in or walk past!).
The best kebabs in Melbourne, period. No, seriously, actual, restaurant quality kebabs. None of this greasy cheap, salty stuff that tastes like cardboard. This guy knows what he's doing. The herbed chips are fantastic, but the kebabs themselves are something special. Would recommend a HSP from here.
The best kebabs I've had in Australia! Proper Turkish and so well seasoned. The customer service is excellent aswell. Have the lamb, the chicken, the falafel, the adana, the shish. It's all excellent!
Arto's claims to have the best kebab in melbourne is on point. The way they seasons and grill your pita (made in house!) really beats anything else. A+ on the kebabs and genuine service.
