Love this place! come here all the time, I love the homey vibe of the place and music is always on point. the chicken soup is my favourite but have tried everything on the menu. Everything is full of flavour and great prices. The chicken wings are so good as well but not on the menu so be sure to ask! Service is amazing from the lovely girls at the front as well as the owner, they truly care about customer satisfaction.

Came here for dinner a couple months ago, saw they were on the Zomato Gold platform, so why not give it a try.

The dumplings were quite nice and full of flavour, we ordered 3 noodles (1 each), king cool, the noodie & big spoon.
Noodles were alright, very light and quite tasty, but the texture of the noodles is not my personal preference to be honest (but take note it's personal preference).

Food: light and tasty, but very limited menu.
Service: the girl that served is was great and energetic.
Price: with Zomato Gold, really can't fault it on price.

Overall: 3.9/5

A great one stop noodle shop in Hawthorn! The menu range is limited, but what they serve is very tasty!

The stand out for me in the interior is the beautiful artwork on the wall. It's so colourful and really makes the space feel brighter.

DRINKS
Oolong Tea: A slightly sweet yet refreshing tea
Milk Tea: Creamy, sweet milk tea which tasted great!

FOOD
The Loot: These vegetarian dumpling were tasty & bite sized. Each one was flavoursome & served with a lovely chilli oil (not overly spicy which I liked)
Smooth Mover (Mild): These glass noodles were soft & the sauce was more on the sour/spicy side
The Noodie (Mild): I really liked the richness that came from the peanut based sauce in this dish. The rice noodles were soft and slurp-worthy! I would recommend ordering this dish with a more sour/lighter dish such as the Smooth Mover or King Cool to cut through the richness.
King Cool (Vegetarian & Mild): A cold noodle dish with tasty mushrooms & tofu. This broth was more on the sour/sweet side, which was a nice contrast to The Noodie.

The service is really friendly & welcoming. The food came out in waves of drinks, entrees & mains which I really liked.

Been here way too many times. Noodles is freshly made and my favourite here beside noodles is prawn dumpling, one of the best.  Friendly staffs and nice place to chill. If you have so much time to chill and not in a rush, this is a good place to come. Love it.

The noodles are absolutely delicious. My friend and I ordered the two chicken dishes and both dishes looked mouth watering!

The King Cool (which was a really fresh, chilled noodle dish. I couldn’t get enough of it!)

The Big Spoon (The teriyaki chicken was so succulent and the sauce was tasty.)

The lady who served us was so attentive and polite. Would highly recommend this place to anyone of my friends, we are definitely coming again very soon!

Noodies has always been my favourite rice noodle shop in the whole Melbourne. Been ordering since November 2019 when it used to open for lunch and dinner, all the way through pandemic, and now opens only for dinners plus Friday’s lunch. Just love the heirloom noodle, prawn dumpling and the milktea. Special credits to the pickles!! However, when I received the delivery today, I got that really sad news - Noodies is actually closing down….. While it would be almost impossible to find a substitute, I wish you all the best!! Thanks for your delicious and heart warming noodies!! Cheers, Sunny

4.5 stars ⭐️ I always felt excited but a bit bad when I get restaurant invites. If they expect me to write a glowing review for free food, they are dead wrong. I am normally pretty frank in my reviews, whether it’s free or not. In fact, sometimes I felt I am even stricter when I got invited so I don’t get biased by the fact that I get free food. So to get 4.5 stars from me from a resto invite, The Noodies is really, really good. It was a cold dark night and it was a bit hard to see where we are going. If it wasn’t for the pink board on the street we might have walked past it. Not a lot of people are inside and I was feeling a bit iffy. Is this even good?! The owner Jack warmly introduced himself and we got seated in a cozy corner. The mural of a beautiful girl with long, colourful hair represents the variety of noodles they have. The decor was practical, it’s not really a place to linger, the menu was short and sweet: 5 noodles, 2 entrees and 3 type of drinks. Not a typical Asian noodle house with a million things to choose from. We started off with the two entrees: smooth mover and vego dumplings. The smooth mover, whilst described as Sichuan style mung (green) bean glass noodles, doesn’t have the numbing spicy flavours, yet the sauce and the homemade glass noodles are strangely addictive. Both my friend and I loved the slightly salty, vinegary, spicy sauce, and when the dumplings came, we used this sauce instead of the one given to us because it’s so yummy. The vego dumplings was a bit small and sad looking so I wasn’t entirely sure about it, but when I pop it into my mouth it was juicy and delicious. The sauce that came with it was nice, but we did like it with the glass noodles sauce better. We were both interested in the beef brisket & tendon noodles “The Heirloom”. $13.8 is a really good deal for an amazingly well cooked bowl of noodles. The beef brisket was full of flavour and melt in your mouth, and it was one of the best beef brisket I had in a noodle house. The tendon was equally yummy and you can really tell they took they time slow cooking it to perfection. You can choose your spicy level for this dish, and whilst I ordered “inferno” which is supposed to be super spicy, what I got was (IMO) mild. Thankfully Jack was happy to provide us with lots of chilli oil so we can adjust it to our level of spiciness. Perfect 💯! One thing that’s missing from the menu though is vego option in noodle soup. At the moment vegos only get the choice of vego dumplings and the Ming bean noodles, both entrees. The owner Jack told us that they have put a lot of thought into the menu and decided rather than offering a million and ten dishes, they wanted to keep it simple and offer what they do brilliantly. I think they have succeeded to do just that. We would like to thank you Jack and The Noodies for inviting us to try their food, we have already made plans to come back!

Decided to visit The Noodies for dinner. First things first, the staff is extremely friendly. Always keeping an eye out for you and making sure the food is good to your liking. From the moment you walk in you feel a great vibe. Very cool and interesting choice of name as it sticks by you... "The Noodies". Who could forget that name. So 10/10 for choice of name. Getting to the food now, the menu is very short and simple, not your classic asian restaurant with 50 pages of dishes. It's very straight forward and they stick to what there good at to try build on that and become the best at there dishes to have that cutting edge. The prawn dumplings that we had ordered was delicious, when you bite into it the pastry of the dumpling was steamed at the right temperature and therefore it gave a right amount of texture in the mouth, wasnt undercooked or overcooked, it was just right. Getting to the main dishes, we ordered the famous "heirloom" with beef brisket in a chicken based broth and also the "big spoon" with seared chicken with teriyaki sauce also in a chicken broth. The servings are extremely large and will definitely fill you up if your hungry. Also perfect choice of noodles, they were delicious and tasty. I would reccomend this to all my family and friends. Definitely worth coming down for a visit! Will be back again soon.

Great little place! I’ll be back for sure. I had the Heirloom noodle soup. The brisket was amazing! They offer 5 levels of spiciness, so I chose zero spiciness, because I’m super sensitive. And there was ACTUALLY zero chilli! Very tasty broth, I was happy. The dumplings and milk tea were also amazing. Highly recommended.

Delicious noodles and I appreciate the small menu. Good place when all you want is something noodles. If the portion of the food could increase a little more it would be perfect

Delicious noodles, generous portion and friendly service. The Heirloom was divine: the beef just melted in your mouth. It was so tasty, so full of flavours! We also loved the Big Spoon. Each broth is unique, which makes each dish on the menu a unique culinary experience. We also asked for a warm tea and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Highly recommended!
