A little overpriced however it still is our go-to resturant when my family can't decide on what to eat. The restruant is somewhat rustic but the style is still lovely. Food is good too, but it can be made at home with ease.
Recently moved to the area tried every place but this one because the place looked dated,I can tell you this is the best Asian food in and around the area,possibly the best food in the area and definitely one of my favourites and we’re kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner,even delivered food is sensational,the staff told us it will be 45-50mins and it is at my doorstep in 10mins every time,sensational!!
Top quality Chinese food in Heidelberg. Singapore noodles are delicious, as are the spring rolls, rice, prawn toasts, beef with black bean...the list continues. Service is always really quick too. Only grip is some dishes can be watery but that doesn't stop me giving them 5 stars.
Best fried rice in Victoria as far as I'm concerned - jam packed with ingredients and always so tasty. Although a few people have been complaining about it in their reviews, I love the old school look, places like this are kind of a dying breed. This is my favourite Chinese ever and has been for many years, will never stop going back!
Have been coming here for years, my favourite for Chinese. They're fried rice and chicken/sweet corn soup are the best. Love the freebies with take away too.
I thought this placed was good. It is old school Ausified Chinese. Don't understand the negative reviews, it is what it claims to be... If you don't like that go elsewhere? Cheerio
Jimmy is a great host, been there for years, food is always consistent! Don't forget to try the signature Mongolian beef and salt and pepper spicy calamari!
Delicious!. Lovely food and friendly service. Had a terrific dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year. Will definitely go back again.
80's charm but tasty food. Simple, old style chinese restaurant. Looks just like the first chinese restaurant I went to in 1986. However don't be put off by the decor. The food is tasty and if you're after typical 'Australian' chinese takeaway, this is a great restaurant.
Old school Chinese with all the favourites on the menu. Fresh ingredients and fulsome flavours. Generous take away serves.

… even old enough to remember when there was a record bar next-door so after we ordered off the menu and we were dining in mom and dad would let us look through the window at all the vinyl records and cassettes that we could’ve bought if we were given enough bloody pocket money !
