We dined on Valentine's day. The food was fantastic. We had pizza and grilled squid. The best squid dish ive ever eaten. The desert was to die for. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The food came out very quickly. A fully switched on restaurant. I recommend highly. Give them 5 stars. Brilliant hospitality
Recommend by an account of mine word of mouth my partner being 4th generation chef was wrapped with the fried whitebait on special, pizza was very neopolitan and the calamari i normally have fried and we ordered grilled which I never had and was extremely beautifully cooked, the Ragu whichnis slowly cooked brisket for 12 hrs we asked for with gnocchi was never a problem as we asked for it as not on menu just changed the pasta omg amazing absolute party in your mouth with clouds of gnocchi..the staff are extremely lovely and friendly considering we are a walk in couple Thankyou we will definitely be back
Came here for the first time with my family and was pleasantly surprised. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. The food was all delicious with lots of variety on the menu. Very family friendly restaurant. We will be back!
It was my first visit today and I have to say I was impressed. The staff were helpful, engaging, and super friendly, and the food was delicious. I had the Bruschetta and a Capricciosa pizza with anchovies. The Bruschetta needed a little something to give it a lift, but the pizza was perfect and that's why I was there. I'll be back.
I have been to Ischia a few times now and unlike some of the other reviewers on here, have yet to find something to whinge about.
Our most recent visit was as part of a group of 6. The decor hasn't changed much since the building housed Siena's all those years. They have added some 1960's style photos of their namesake island, but it's a big, airy room, suited to the cuisine it serves.
The offering is similar to Siena's - good, hearty, bold Italian staples and very good pizzas. It is better that its predesessor though.
The service is always friendly, with several staff being "genuinely" Italian.
Someone mentioned that it is a bit pricey. I haven't found it to be anything out of the ordinary for Beaufort Street price-wise and the pastas are particularly good value.
I shared a Bruschetta for my entree and launched into the Linguine Puttanesca for main. It was rustic, loud and when topped with extra chili oil and parmesan, just heavenly. $22 is not what I would call expensive.
Corkage is a little steep at $8 per bottle, but that is a small inconvenience. My score is probably a 3 1/2, but I am not sure how to do that so will err on the side of generosity with a 4.

Some of the yummiest Italian food in Perth. I have only the highest compliments for their Pizza, pasta and meat! Staff is so friendly and got to know me by name after just a couple nights here. All round great experience every time I come!
Excellent Food, Great Prices - It only cost us $110.00 for three courses for two people which is great especially given the quality of the food was amazing.
Food was nice!! Didn’t have to wait long to be served or to have our food served to us. Very busy on Saturday night- good vibe. But too many tables too close to one another which is a bit uncomfortable. Other than that it’s a great place. Would go back again!
Excellent service!! staff are very friendly and accommodating, our waiter was amazing. Ordered arancini balls and was expecting them to be filled with a bit more arrabiata sauce than what they were; although average they were still good. I had the gnocchi napoletana and my partner had the pappardelle ragu; both beautiful, the gnocchi was very soft and fluffy and flavour of the ragu was delish! We were expecting a bit of a wait as it was quite busy when we arrived. We ordered everything at once and mains took at least an hour before they were brought out; our waiter apologised profusely for it and brought out complimentary tiramisu after we had eaten which was lovely 😊.
Friendly, efficient service. The gnocchi was delicious and a big portion. Hubby had ‘njuda pizza and said was really good. Great atmosphere!! Best restaurant I’ve been to in Perth for a while.
we got take away parma pizza and slow cooked beef Ragu, and it was great ! the food was ready to collect quickly and still hot and tasted fresh when we got home. definitely will have to go here again and do a dine in experience!
Ischia came recommended by an Italian friend. One fine evening, with a craving for pasta, I decided to take her up on that recommendation.. and was I glad I did. Their pasta (I've tried four different types there since) is a l w a y s perfectly al dente and portions are on the larger side. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating as well.
I don't usually order a starter there because the mains are more than sufficient. The prawn seafood starter I ordered once was delicious but rather pricey for the portion size received.
