Came for Sunday lunch with my son. The burgers were absolutely delicious. We got a Southern fried chicken burger and a maple bacon and beef burger and tried half of each 👍🏽
Both were fresh, very tasty and cooked perfectly.
We got a side of sweet potato fries, my son declared they were the tastiest fries ever!
I wouldn't pay $18 for the burgers, so half price Sunday is a great chance to work our way through the menu. It would be nice to know what's included in half price burgers, the lady serving wasn't sure and said she could tell me if the burgers I wanted were included as I ordered them. Usually T&C are clearly displayed somewhere but they weren't :)
The only suggestion I have is to have some different table options. Sitting up on a round bar table was not the comfiest. I would have liked somewhere a little quieter with a regular height table :) I'm not sure what was upstairs as we booked and were seated at a table.
Dropped in while in Hobart from South Australia. Half price burgers on a Sunday pulled us in for lunch, and they were pretty good! Wine list concise but very good. Minor confusion when we were presented at our table with take-away instead of dine in, and once that was resolved the burgers were not very hot unfortunately.
Otherwise recommended.
Sweet potato chips are to die for (big servings) and the burgers are a little on the pricey side (especially for veggie burgers) but are delicious. A good range drinks and there are heaters in the outdoor area. My only criticism is that the service was very slow. It wasn't busy at all but I spent five minutes standing at the bar waiting, then gave up and ordered from the QR code on the table and it still took 15+ minutes for our drinks to come.
My partner and I made our way down to Salamanca Place after a boozy late lunch at The Chowk and a quick stop at The Whaler for a game of pool.
We just beat the dinner rush and snagged a table in the warm interior next to the bar, where they had a variety of dark beers as part of Dark Mofo. I'm not a huge fan of dark beers, but the Penut Butter Porter was really interesting.
We grabbed a bowl of tempura broccoli which was fairly average, but what really blew us away was the six types of sliders that we sampled for dinner.
The salmon wasn't quite to our taste and I found the hallumi a little bland (possibly because I removed the tomato though).
The cheeseburger was as good as you'd expect of a classic and the spiced pulled pork really hit the spot.
I found it exceedingly difficult to pick my favourite out of the braised beef with delectable crunchy slaw and the perfectly cooked eye fillet mignon with balsamic onion jam, as both of these were absolutely gorgeous to taste.
Would recommend stopping in at Jack Greene to try all six yourself if you're around Salamanca Place.
Best happy hour in Hobart. Great craft beers on tap all half price. Food is yummy too. Had the fried broccoli and is a unique but pleasant experience.

Great craft beer available. Cool vibe. Live music, really enjoyed hanging out here during our stay in Hobart
Went here on Sunday for lunch with my Son. Half price burgers, beautiful.
The place had a great feel inside and out. Very relaxing. Burgers were super tasty washed down with a pint of cascade pale ale (not my son he had water).
