Fantastic dinner in an intimate setting.
Wonderful food, wonderful ambiance, fantastic evening!
We dined on a quiet wintery Thursday night and were immediately impressed with the layout of this heritage listed building. Steve our attendant showed us through to a table in an intimate two table room. Our coats were taken and fresh bread, tapenade and biscuits were brought to the table. The menu was classic modern Australian. We chose an abalone and pork belly dish and a cheese souffle for entree, the souffle was exceptional. For mains we had a delicious lamb with carrot pudding and their take on duck l'orange which was tasty if slightly overdone. Steve was only too happy to talk us through the winelist and point out some of Tasmania's finer drops which we enjoyed. Service was outstanding as was the quality of the produce and the atmosphere. We finished with dessert of three cheeses and a semolina pudding, lovely. We would recommend Lebrina to anyone looking for an intimate, charming and attentive dining experience.
