Casual and grungy pub, laid back friendly staff. Incredible range of drinks. Excellent food with very good vegetarian and vegan choices. Great beer garden, heaps of live music. Never disappointed with this place.
5 star dive bar, great local bands.
We loved it here. It's a classic grubby pub and that's what we expected. Staff was friendly and dedicated. We enjoyed the vegan burger and loaded nachos, it was actually so good! Awesome prices as well. Will be back on our next visit to Hobart!
The best and most unique bar still open in Australia. If you like incredible local and interstate punk, metal, rock and roll and tom-foolery, with a twist of real local characters come here. It is where real musicians get their start and super friendly locals. Oh yeah cheap beers and food. A local establishment you have to get drunk at, at least once.
If you like old metal pubs with good vibes and sticky carpet, this place is for you.
Dirty but friendly bar with a mostly alternative sort of crowd. Great venue for live music on a Friday and Saturday. Surprisingly good bar food here, with a range of veggo and vegan options.
Prepare yourself for the toilets though. They're an experience.
Been there first tine tonight, and you know what? I really like this place! It is clearly inclusive and celebrates a diverse crowd, and the people are really lovely, and took me in my frazzled state (I jogged 2Km to get there and was sweating profusely) with all the welcoming kindness I could wish for. They have beer and spirits, they have food, they have a couple of areas with 2 stages, with bands and comedy, and people enjoying hanging out in a progressive and open-minded atmosphere. WeIl done owners, and thank you.
