First time. Can't complain about anything. Value was fair. Service was great. The place is brand new. Great. Hidden gem. I think it will be the best place in Hurstville
Very good restaurant. Very good quality of food, value for money is there, no hassles with basement parking (1st two hours is free) and lift to 2ND floor...so no stairs. Very busy at lunchtime but the staff are very good at making sure there is a table for you quickly. Table service is also quick.
Got a recommend by a friend to try out this place. One of the tastiest yumcha place out there in my opinion. The price is really affordable too, $30 for 2pp , walked out with a very filling stomach. The service was quick and efficient, all the ladies makes me feel really welcoming , they continuously offering me and my friend to try their dishes, my friend basically have to tell them to comeback later since they putting about 7 dishes in front of us and still offering more š
overall nice experience, would comeback again anytime soon.
This is definitely one of the nicer yum cha restaurants I have been to. The interior is clean and the decor is quite chic for a yum cha place. Whilst in my opinion yum cha is basically the same everywhere you go, I have to rate the food here pretty highly. The har gow (prawn dumplings), siu mai (pork and prawn dumplings), har cheong fun (prawn rice noodle) are all pretty stock standard but also pretty good. The fung zhao (chicken feet) though are out of this world, the best chicken feet I have ever had. They were cooked to absolute tenderness, came out nice and hot and the combination of flavour and textures were much better than I have had previously. Would highly recommend this place for yum cha, especially the chicken feet!
Love this place - yum cha is tasty and reasonably priced. restaurant is clean and doesnāt feel Singh. Loved their pork chestnut dumplings and their fried snake beans. Attentive service even on a public holiday (beware the $3 surcharge) and special mention to the garlic chilli oil they serve. My favourite place to date! Ordered 7 dishes + 3 desserts between 3 of us and the total bill was only $102 - amazing!
I have decided to upgrade my review from a 3 star to a 4 star as they have really shown a major improvement from the last time I came! Every dish was perfectly done, and nothing was over cooked.
After hearing about the great reviews, I had to visit to see for myself and Iām glad I did! Serving authentic Guangdong cuisine, the flavour of the dishes and the quality of service was truly up to standard!
We visited on a weekday morning and it was already overflowing with customers dining in. We were seated immediately and service was great from start to finish.
I highly recommend ordering the Siu Mai and Ha Gao. My favourite was the Prawn Rice Noodles and the BBQ Pork Buns which had a flavourful filling that had me addicted! We also requested a dish of Gai Lan and I really liked it.
My friend recommended this restaurant and itās become our favourite place for yum cha in Hurstville. The dim sums are flavoured the way I like (not too sweet ). I usually like to order the dish with fried dough wrapped in smooth churn fun but they also have a different version with fried spring rolls wrapped instead. Both are delicious !
Also worth a mention is their tea is pretty good too, they put a generous amount of tea leaves so thereās actually tea taste instead of coloured hot water. Been here a few times and will be back again.
My favourite yum cha place in Hurstville. The vibe is nicer compared with other Chinese food shops here. But have to say, the service is just so so. Came here few times, and they really serve decent flavour. The prawn dumpling, egg tart, custard bun were all not bad. The bbq pork rice roll is mediocre. But overall, we had a satisfied yum cha and definitely will come back again.
Selfish side of me doesn't want to share this as it means the queues will keep getting longer! Currently the best yum cha restaurant in Hurstville (imho) and the queues will tell you why. Very nice seating, fairly ok service (it's Chinese afterall) and the dim sum is so good! Love coming here with a big group to get loads of different stuff. We always have our staples that we go to... there's parking underneath or on the street (or you can even park at Westfield). If you are ok to share a table, the wait time may be significantly less.
The restaurant is also now open for dinner and we went there on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy which meant the food was exceptionally good. And good value too. We had lobster, fish, and loads of other dishes like meat cold platter and roast goose. YUM!
One of the best yum chas Iāve been to. Good food, good service, decent price. Lovely ambience as well. I advise getting there before 2pm so that there is a wider range of dishes to choose from.
They have a high standard of food, whether it is yum cha or dinner. Very authentic Guangdong cuisine. Yum cha price is higher than other yum cha places in Hurstville but it is always packed with long waiting time, even on weekdays. š²Their signature dim sum dish is Siu Mai. It is for a reason, they were pumped & juicy with great flavour. Another great dim sum dish is duck feet parcels. Those are the two must eat dishes for me. š
They also offer some modern Chinese dishes on the dinner menu, such as Salt & pepper calamari stuffed with minced shrimp and Spinach purƩe on deep fried egg bean curd.
Staff was quick & courteous. Trolley ladies were always served with a smile.
