Love the quality of food at Pinkie! The quantity could be increased for the price, but overall a lovely place to get breakfast.
Went on a tuesday morning, didn’t have to book which was a plus, customer service was great. Ordered an açai bowl which was fresh, delicious and left me wanting more. Also ordered an oat latte, there aren’t many places that i have seen which offer oat milk so this was quite exciting. Waitresses were lovely and social distancing was adhered to which i appreciate. Will be coming back!!
My partner and I had ourselves a great brunch here. She had kale and avo on toast, whilst I had Portobello mushrooms on toast with romesco sauce and a poached egg which was just lovely. Service was great too. Will return if we are in the area.
Great service! Nice owners and staff, they kept filling up the water and checking the satisfaction of food during the time we were there.

The avo smash with so much toppings which can definitely fill up your tummy. The herbs and veggie balance the flavour very well.
We love they put the little Mediterranean hints in every dishes.
Pinkie is quite popular amongst the locals in Ivanhoe and Melbourne's brunch enthusiasts. Cafe is slightly tucked away from downtown Ivanhoe but can be easily found. Love the cafe vibes this place is offering as well as the food. We were blown away by their popular acai bowl to salmon bowl and mushrooms on toast. Not to mention the pink latte and smoothies which is an iconic drink to have when visiting Pinkie.

We recently revisited Pinkie to try the new menu. Such a popular cafe in Ivanhoe, it’s always busy & buzzing with hungry customers.
The Salmon & Avo bowl has to be one of my all time favourite brunch dishes. The torched salmon makes a nice change from your standard smoked salmon & the flavour of the sriracha kewpie mayo, pickled ginger & brown rice is a delicious combination.
The dulce ricotta pancakes are the perfect choice for a sweet tooth & with very generous portion sizes, you definitely won’t leave hungry.

Pinkie is located on Westley Avenue in Ivanhoe. It has a beautiful fitout with plenty of plants & not surprisingly, pink. I was excited to check it out as I’m a huge fan of No. 19, their sister cafe.
It was a warm, muggy day so we started with cold drinks, an iced latte & an iced hazelnut. The iced hazelnut was a delicious combination of espresso, hazelnut, coconut milk & ice which was a lovely change from my usual iced latte. We ordered a few dishes to share & a couple of smoothies, the nutberry smoothie & the Schwarzenegger, stunning colours & absolutely divine.
The açai bowl was perfect for the hot day. A very pretty bowl filled with açai, organic crumble, banana, peanut butter & fruit, such a tasty combination.
The corn & halloumi fritters were a standout. Served with bacon, spinach, poached egg & beetroot creme fraiche we opted to add halloumi. The presentation of this dish was stunning, the pop of colour from the beetroot creme fraiche was so impressive. We adored this dish, the flavours were incredible & the creme fraiche worked perfectly with the fritters.
The superfood salad was also sensational, a huge bowl filled with kale, quinoa, avocado, Granny Smith apple, halloumi, almonds, goji berries, chia & a sumac hummus. We also added grilled chicken which was well cooked & full of flavour. This was such a filling & delicious salad, all the flavours worked so well together & I could happily eat this everyday.
The staff at Pinkie were super friendly & efficient and it’s such a fantastic venue. I loved the range of dishes on the menu, it’s so refreshing to have some delicious & healthy options. I can’t wait to come back & try more of the menu, thanks so much for having us.
Loved everything about this special place! From the stunning and fresh interior, to the service and the FOOD! Their pancakes are seriously out of this world - I couldn’t recommend them enough 👏🏼. The other dish I tried was the mushrooms 🍄 which had so much amazing flavour! Their betroot latte was a delicous end to the meal 👌🏼. I would come back and dine here in a heartbeat 💗

So happy I finally made it to Pinkie after seeing it all over Instagram! It was definitely worth the drive out there. Absolutely loved the vibes, despite still being early on Saturday morning, it was super busy so it's clear this is definitely the popular brunch spot in Ivanhoe.
We were greeted by a friendly waitress who was very attentive, warm and bubbly. I like how you can see the dishes coming out of the kitchen, it helps if you're unsure of what to order! The menu has all the classics so you definitely won't be disappointed.
We ordered the Halloumi & Sweet Potato fritters, Chilli Scramble and Dulce Ricotta Hotcakes, two snickers smoothies and two coffees. The fritters was nice, with the salmon definitely being the highlight for me. I couldn't really tell where the halloumi was, but I sort of forgot while I was eating it, so obviously it didn't really matter to me. The scramble was good, my partner said he enjoyed it and it was a great portion size. The highlight for both of us was definitely the hotcakes. They were super impressive, beautifully plated and not overly sweet. I loved the addition of white choc crumble and raspberries - it was just heavenly!
The snickers smoothies were an absolute 5/5 - I could easily down one every day, it was super tasty. Coffee's were great too.
I can definitely see why this cafe is so popular, keep up the good work team!
Finally got to visit Pinkie in Ivanhoe and I am so happy I made it out there!! My friend and I purchased the smashed avo and added halloumi which was just delicious 😍 we then also got the dulce ricotta pancakes and shared them which I’m so glad we did 😂. The pancakes were actually amazing, the white choc crumb in between the pancakes made for the perfect balance between the softness of the pancakes! Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu!!!
Mushroom on toast is the best I’ve had so far. Absolutely incredible!
We had an amazing time at this cafe and the service was really good and on point.
We went on a 10am busy rush hour and cafe was bustling with people which was nice to see.
During our visit we ordered;
• the smashed avo with poached egg and Halloumi
• the Shroom - consisting of mushrooms with leek puree and asparagus and poached egg on sourdough toast
• Pinkie Hotcakes - just a delicious classic which cannot go wrong
• green smoothie and Vita bliss juice

to a brekky bowls and a range of brunch plates and burgers. After one visit here, I am certain you’ll fall in love with this bright and contemporary café just like I have.
The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and best of all it has a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Great cafe in Ivanhoe. Always packed but worth the wait (does not take that long anyway) Mushroom dish was a star for me, absolutely lovin it. Drinks were on point. Protein milkshake is highly recommended !
🌺 Pinkie Hotcakes - the hotcakes were super thick and fluffy, pairing with orange and dark choc is instant heaven! In contrast the vanilla mascarpone toned down some of that sweetness. If there was ice cream to add more moistness it would make this dish complete! A very filling and enjoyable hotcake dish.
🐷 Pinkie Benedict - so impressed at the size of that homemade hash brown! 🤩 Generally not a fan of pulled pork (but I can’t say no to potato 🥺) I found the pork had plenty of flavour and was tender and moist and brought some oomph to the dish.
🍄 The Shroom - the mushrooms were simply bursting with flavour! I feel the Romesco sauce wasn’t really needed since the mushrooms were so good! There’s a bit of variety with the poached eggs and asparagus and toast as well.
Also had the matcha and beetroot latte and it was lovely!

What a brekkie date!
Salmon Steak ($22)
I absolutely devoured this dish! The salmon sauce brings this dish together and there was nothing I would change about the combination of a rosti, salmon and turmeric cauliflower.
Pinkie Benedict ($19)
This was little sister's dish. Her eyes were wide open when this was put in front of her and was extremely filling. The rosti was a stand-up in this dish.
Pinkie Hotcakes ($19.50)
As you can see, we had some fun with this dish and the dark chocolate ganache we drizzled over it before digging in. The hotcakes were light and fluffy, and we loved it...crumble and all 🍴
Visited on a weekday and they were still pretty busy!
Tried out several dishes which were all quite delicious - The Pinkie Cheeseburger ($19.5) was juicy and had a generous amount of sauce that kept every bite moist. The Shrooms ($20) dish was so flavourful and had such a big pile of mushrooms! The mixture of portobello mushrooms and enoki was a nice touch.
The Salmon Steak ($22) was outstanding! Had to be my fave with the crispy crispy skin sitting on a delicious sweet potato rosti. The poach was perfect and the hollandaise was silky and buttery.
Overall such a great little spot! Their Matcha latte ($5) and Green smoothie ($9.5) was also very tasty.
A trendy cafe located in Ivanhoe. Really love the ambience and friendly service. The dishes are presented beautifully with fresh and delicious ingredients.
