Fantastic experience! My partner and I came here to celebrate 6 months together. Food was served in generous portions with an excellent wine selection. They decorated our table with love heart glitter on the side. Restaurant was cosy and decorated nicely. They have a comfortable lounge wall with cushions. Wait staff were very professional and attentive. We attended on a Saturday night and the place was very lively and noisy. So it's not the best place for a long conversation but at least we were able to cuddle up between meals on the lounge. They went out of their way and even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert plate and complimented us on looking like a cute couple and asking us how many years we were married! Being busy, meals take a little longer to prepare and we found the share bowl garlic prawns was too small for 2 people and they didn't bring out additional bowls to spoon it into anyway. So keep that in mind when ordering. Otherwise main meals were very generous indeed and very tasty. I ordered the duck and it was well done. Just the right portion size. My partner ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was most definitely a large plate of food that we ended up sharing! I'd definitely come back here again!

My partner and I ate here as a first date night since our baby was born and it was absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, lovely hosts. The food was exceptional. We both had the steaks & even now its all I am thinking about. The steaks were a great quality cut & cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chefs, best meal in the shire so far!

I had my 50th Birthday at Rocksalt last night. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff could not do enough for us. We were a large party of 30 and the food came out with perfect timing and I must say considering this would have put quite a bit of pressure on the chefs, the food was faultless!! Every one of my friends said the food was cooked to fine dining perfection, and they cant wait to get back there. Thank you Carol and the team at Rocksalt for giving us the most amazing dining experience. We'll be back soon!
