Dinner last night with a couple of friends and I've been to this place umpteen times. Had the beef tenderloin with caramelised onion, potato rosti and Gorgonzola cream. Best thing I've eaten in ages. Almost licked my plate. For $28 unbelievable value. Great service too. No wonder this place is packed on a Friday night. For a little suburban joint they do amazingly well. Definitely coming back. Awesome.
My Valentine & I had the most scrumptious meal. Our favourite was the Garlic Prawns � but truly it was all wonderful and the staff were lovely the decor' is so intimate & cosy.
Really enjoyed the dinning experience here with great service and great food. Yes it was noisy but so is most places today. We had the veal scallopini, seafood hotpot and the barramundi all were excellent. They also had a good gf menu as well. We will return.
The meals are very generously portioned and there is many different options available on the menu. We have been here more than once, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is also very tasty!
A great venue serving high quality food with friendly staff. We go here reasonably regularly and have never been disappointed. The menu does not change that often, but there are usually some great specials and there is plenty of variety on it. The servings are generous without being over the top. The steps up are a bit of a challenge if you have elderly diners with you, but otherwise - it is fantastic.

The restaurant is a bit hidden on the first floor, the atmosphere was cheerful, the service was friendly and prompt, the food was delicious and the cocktails were surprisingly good. We will definitely be back soon.

We shared haloumi, chorizo, capsicum, tapenade & crostini for entree. Mains were salmon fillet and spaghetti marinara. Tiramisu for dessert. Everything cooked as it should be and quite delicious.
Will be back to try more pasta dishes and their cocktails.
Food here is amazing especially the deserts! I highly recommend the brownie!!

Fantastic experience! My partner and I came here to celebrate 6 months together. Food was served in generous portions with an excellent wine selection. They decorated our table with love heart glitter on the side.
Restaurant was cosy and decorated nicely. They have a comfortable lounge wall with cushions. Wait staff were very professional and attentive. We attended on a Saturday night and the place was very lively and noisy. So it's not the best place for a long conversation but at least we were able to cuddle up between meals on the lounge.
They went out of their way and even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert plate and complimented us on looking like a cute couple and asking us how many years we were married!
Being busy, meals take a little longer to prepare and we found the share bowl garlic prawns was too small for 2 people and they didn't bring out additional bowls to spoon it into anyway. So keep that in mind when ordering. Otherwise main meals were very generous indeed and very tasty. I ordered the duck and it was well done. Just the right portion size. My partner ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was most definitely a large plate of food that we ended up sharing!
I'd definitely come back here again!

Great atmosphere, lovely hosts. The food was exceptional. We both had the steaks & even now its all I am thinking about. The steaks were a great quality cut & cooked to perfection.

I had my 50th Birthday at Rocksalt last night. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff could not do enough for us. We were a large party of 30 and the food came out with perfect timing and I must say considering this would have put quite a bit of pressure on the chefs, the food was faultless!! Every one of my friends said the food was cooked to fine dining perfection, and they cant wait to get back there. Thank you Carol and the team at Rocksalt for giving us the most amazing dining experience. We'll be back soon!
We walked in without a reservation, and were lucky to get a table for two, as by 7pm the restaurant was full! The floor staff were young, but attentive. The vibe in the restaurant was wonderful, and the food delicious. We'll be back to try more items off the menu! The specials' board also looked impressive.
Great tasty menu, byo wine, plenty of room to move around, clean and well presented. Friendly staff who serve well portioned meals.
We had a fabulous evening at the Rocksalt on the evening of the 1st March. We were a party of 8 , we arrived at 6pm and and left at 9.45pm the service was faultless the food was fantastic.. Carrol we'll be back,
