How lucky were we to be staying straight across the road from Bettys Bar! The food is amazing,the coffee is the outstanding but more importantly Martine, Gavin, and their staff are so hospitable you will never want to eat anywhere else
What a fantastic place with the most hospitable owners and staff. The coffee is sublime and brekkie rolls so moreish. all surrounded by gorgeous trees and birds -

Great cold brew! That's a must try. The fire pit grill dinner taste delicious but unfortunately we didn't pre-order a grill platter (which we believe would taste really good, better come back for it). Highly recommended: grill corn, grill salmon (very juicy), and the cold brew (limited availability). Friendly staff and great environment (overlooking the Hampden bridge)
Surprisingly as a carnivore, the veggie plate was an amazing standout. Meanwhile, the BBQ plate had a knockout beef rib, but sub-par pork ribs and sausage. Great place for larger groups and good service. Some of the chairs are more comfortable than others, due to the mismatched decor, may want to make sure you get a good chair at your table. Kid friendly, limited menu options (which is often a good thing), and good vibes. Overall, recommended.
Warm service, tasty food and great atmosphere! Betty’s Bar makes use of its wood-fire pizza oven and smoker to produce a straightforward menu with a great drinks selection (the N’duja has a kick 😉)
Nice family owned restaurant. Service was great and the food was quite nice.
Had a wonderful simple and satisfying meal at Bettys. The place looked at first bare in pictures, but in fact its spacious and cosy somehow at the same time. The smoked salmon dish was SO SO SO very good. Pizza is fresh and delicious. The chilli oil (requested) is really quite unique and very balanced. People running the place is lovely too. I would recommend if in the area.
So glad to have rediscovered my coffee soulmate, Gavin, & talented taste-master Martine! So many years later, still the best coffee - not just an accompaniment to the amazing food. The bacon & egg roll, & smoked salmon sandwich were delicious (and the hospitality when the kitchen was actually closed!) So grounding (pun intended) to see you both again, and thriving.
