The Yellow Deli is a beautiful addition to the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.
A hand crafted and unique interior adds a character and charm reminiscent to the fantasy of of the Shire from Lord of the Rings.
Warm fire was on by 11am for brunch. Range of coffees and alternative milks. Sandwiches are a must try - it appears all is made in house.
Such a nice place, the people are so friendly. Even if there was a wait to get in, the dude at the front treated it like it was no problem to get us in and they took our number and called us when a table was ready. The place looked like it was hand built, kind of reminded me of somewhere I would go to eat in middle earth.. The food was so wholesome and homely. Kind of felt like I was invited to eat in someone’s home, and they were really good at cooking. My Reuben sandwich was brilliant. Also you have to try the green juice it’s actually really good. 10 out of 10 for the Reuben sandwich and the chili.. can’t wait to find an excuse to drive up to Katoomba and go back…
Super cute cafe in Katoomba town in Blue Mountains. The menu is small but very well selected with Sandwiches, Salads and small deserts along with Smoothies and other drinks all made in-house. The staff is family like, super courteous and always happy and smiling.
The sandwiches are super tasty.
A must visit. Best is to call them 30 minutes before your arrival and they will put your name on wait list. The wait times are not very long, approximately 20-30 minutes as the menu is mainly sandwiches and salads.
Quirky and charming. The deco takes you into a wooded realm that feels out of this world.
The food is delicious and hearty. I ordered the lamb sandwich with soup of the day (creamy tomato on this occasion) accompanied by hibiscus lime maté blend tea.
All items are health-focused (no hot chips in sight, what a breath of fresh air). Gives their hot herbal tea a try, if you're a tea person. They have many blends to ponder over.
Did not have room for their dessert, though!
The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely go back again for breaky next time.
The food is so yummy and the place is so cozy. I definitely want to go again to try more food. Only bad thing is the place is so busy even on a weekday that I can't settle in a corner with my book. It definitely has that kinda ambience. Food is reasonably priced as well
This cafe is such s beautiful place to visit with friends, and have a nice chat. I ordered the chili and it was a generous serving and incredibly tasty, and the bread was so soft and fluffy! I might never order anything else from the menu anymore 😂. I also ordered the hibiscus and lime maté tea, which was delicious, and came in a lovely large pot.
