Dropped in for a quick lunch. Very polite, very courteous, just plain decent service with a smile. Had the burger with the lot and the southern fried chicken tenders. Both were very good. Chicken excellent, burger a very good simple burger with the lot. So nice to find a place that doesn't try and be fancy. They just serve good fresh made food. Would like to give 4.5 stars but it's a limitation of the system. Well worth dropping in for a meal.
Great burger and onion rings.. I order led the southern chicken burger.. fresh and delicious..
My partner and I felt hungry after a big hike and decided to have a late lunch. We ordered the mega burger with onion rings combo and the southern fried chicken burger with chips combo. The burgers were a good size and decent pricing. They were so delicious and not greasy at all. The crispy onion rings were amazing! I have to say - the chicken in the burger was so crispy and didn't go soggy like most burgers. The best burgers we've had in ages! Would definitely go back when visiting the Blue mountains 😃
We just had lunch with a friend, we both got the mushroom burger and they were delicious! The pesto mayo was so tasty and the fries were obviously freshly made. Love having good vegetarian options!
So glad we found this place (the pubs were so busy)! The kids were so hungry and only wanted nuggets and chips. My husband and I enjoyed our chicken burgers, and the servings were substantial and reasonably priced as Katoomba is quite pricey. The service was quick and friendly. The space was clean, except for the toilet.
We went to a bunch of places as a last minute thing but couldn't get anywhere without a booking. Cattlefish was busy but efficient. We waited maybe 10 mins after ordering for takeaway, but ended up grabbing a table. We had 3 different beef burgers and the brisket beef patty was amazing, juicy, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. It was complemented by various fillings and sauces. The chips were thick, golden and crispy. Overall the food was delicious and if you are after a no fuss yummy burger and chips as well as excellent service this is the place to go.
We ordered 2 x Mega Burgers and a beef burger and i have to say they are the best burgers i have ever had, even better than Grilled. They were beautifully assembled, cooked nicely and not dripping with fat. They were also absolutely delicious. They were so good I'm going back for another one tomorrow night. Chips are also very good not the best I've had but I will give them an 8 out of 10 so better than most. Prices are also very reasonable. So if you in Katoomba and looking for a great food, give Cattlefish a go, you will not be disappointed. Yum
Got the meat lovers burger, it was very tasty and had plenty of filling. I’ll definitely eat there again, and order the same again. Originally went for a burger at Aunty Ed’s, it’s just down the road but the kitchen had shut… It was 3pm on a long weekend. Anyway, My win!
