My family has been going here for many years. We really enjoy this place. The food is consistently filling and tasty. Highly recommend the black pepper beef, salt & pepper squid and the dong dong fried rice!
We came here for a quick take away from this restaurant. We ordered the choy sum which was delicious and still had a good texture to it- not over cooked at all. We came back the order their noodles and portions were huge and the noodles were full of flavour. They also give you complimentary soup before your meal.
We had lunch here on 1st of January. All the choices were nice. I love the shantung chicken. Roast pork also nice. Place not so clean but it was ok.
Dong Dong noodles is an old favourite of mine that I used to frequent quite often. I went there again last night and had my traditional favourites a hot and sour soup which is not a common to find around town followed by a salt and pepper squid. I'm happy to say that the food as always was excellent and well priced the salt and pepper squid is absolutely the best I've tasted in Sydney. If I have any criticism of The restaurant it would be that it is very small inside and often crowded making the eating experience a little cramped. Overall one of my favourite places to eat around town.
Dong Dong Noodles in Kingsford is very popular with the locals so that's a good sign. A good range of entrees like spring rolls, sang chou bow, soups and steamed wonton. The mains include pork, beef or chicken options with different sauces; sweet and sour, black bean, oyster, salt and pepper and more. There's also hot pots, seafood and vegetables and bean curd. A range of stir fried noodles, chow menu, vermicelli, fried rice, laksa and congee etc can also be ordered. This place has bbq chicken, duck, with sides (only available before 9:45pm). We got the san choy bow and scrambled egg with prawn. They were both very tasty! They were also so fast, quite possibly the fastest service i've ever had. For a drink we got a hong kong lemon iced tea.
New Dong Dong Noodles is the perfect place for a UNSW student to eat at for their affordable and highly authentic Cantonese cuisine. The service is especially fast too which is important if you only have a short break between lectures. Definitely get the Shan Tung Chicken!

Very cheap.. quick and usually tasty.... Its super cheap....it comes out fast..and most of it is real good. Can be inconsistent thought - I find that 20% of the time it will be under-par...ie everything will be bland.
Great tasting Cantonese food. We came here for dinner. Ordered Salted Fish & Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Scrambled Egg, Pork Spare Ribs Hot Pot, and Salt & Pepper Squid. All the dishes were yummy but the serving size for Hot Pot was really small so I wouldn't order that dish again.
Waitress was so busy that she was running (literally running) and skitting around the place which made me feel a bit uneasy due to safety reasons. They needed at least one more staff on as she was the only one taking orders, bringing food out and clearung tables...
Went on a Friday night. And they seemed busy coz the waitress was literally running in the restaurant and slamming down the dishes. The female waitress seemed stressed lol
The food was yummy. Decent and large portion size. And good price. For 2 dishes it was $30. And you get rice and chicken. So go for the food!!!

We eat here once at least once a week and the team really spoil us! The service is very quick. Our favourites are the Salt & Pepper Squid, Combination Fried Rice, Pork Spare Rib Hot Pot and a small Roast Duck & Roast Pork platter. The dishes go perfectly with a glass East Sauvignon Blanc got from the pub across the road.
Been a customer here since 2000 and the food here are always delicious and value for money. I love their Dong Dong Fried Rice, Pork Chop with red rice & I always love to eat thei Chicken Chow Mein with chilli oil it's shiok!
