Out of all the place to eat here this is the best place to eat in kuranda! Great sausages and nice beer! Definitely recommend either the käsenknacker or the good old Bratwurst
Had lunch there on Sunday and it was delicious - generous sauerkraut and great potato salad. I wanted the brat kartoffen but waa told it would be a 30 minute wait. Cheery service and cool German music in the background. Recommended for a relaxed, easy and tasty lunch.
If you didn't know if you wanted emu or kangaroo sausages you will have to wait 20 minutes,if you want something else it's most likely already cooking on the bbq. This place is in Kuranda no Cairns. It's a small place with a outside hot dog stand,there isn't much ambience here but at least there is indoor/outdoor seating though it's limited. Food wasn't too bad,the potato salad tasted like it had the dressing they use in bean salad,different but I don't mind it. The pork sausage I liked it and my partners crocodile wasn't too bad. Prices were reasonable,service can be pretty quick,not a bad option in Kuranda
Nice little shop at Kuranda making German sausages. We loved it so much that we had two rounds of Currywurst. Sadly, they ran out of emu and crocodile sausages and some of us wanted to try them out. We tried out the Kaseknacker, Thuringer Bratwurst and Weibwurst.
Food and Service. Great place.
The staff had great bubbly personalities,
making you feel very welcome and happy to be there.
I think we had the lunch plate and a German beer,
nice big portion and very tasty.

Such a cool little place, delicious food and really good value! We smelled the delicious hot dog smell wafting onto the street and were lured inside, only to be met by rad German dance beats and a super friendly owner. And the hot dogs were totally worth it. Just be aware they don't take card - just bank transfer but that wasn't a problem for us!
Just like Oma used to make. Have a bier as you enjoy some authentic flavours.
Either sit down in the front balcony, out the back in the market food court, or grab a take away from the front taster booth.
Amazing food and you get what you order on the spot. Great if you're in a hurry!
Cheap and delicious lunch or snack. Worth to pay AUD 8 for a sausage hotdog. It's based on baguette that make it better.
Great value German tucker! We tried a few different sausages and they were all great. Accompany your food with a F’ing Hell lager and it’s perfect!

Had a great time here beer is cold and sausages are the best, well worth a visit. The host is very entertaining and does his best to please everyone.
