Superb food, attentive staff and cosy atmosphere makes this our new favourite cafe in Kyneton. I would highly recommend the Autumn breakfast. We will definitely try the Sri Lankan lunch menu items next time. A must try if visiting Kyneton.
Delicious food, friendly staff, locally grown produce, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Great coffee and plenty of sweets to choose from. We will definitely be back.
We had a lovely brunch at the Home Grown, and enjoyed some beautiful sri lankan style dishes. As self proclaimed foodies, we were blown away with the flavours in each part of our dishes. We also enjoyed our full bodied ethical trade coffee (supplied by coffee makers in local Sunbury). We walked out with a banana and walnut muffin... We can’t wait to go back!!!!
This cafe has attractive decor and simply stunning food with wonderful salads, mostly home grown on the owner's mini-farm. Various meat and vegetarian dishes available mostly cooked with Sri Lankan style. Friendly service.
Great food, yummy and healthy. Good stock of local food produce for sale especially the Table Olives and Pure Olive Paste from Olive's Olives.
Home Grown on Piper is great place to catch up with friends or family and have chat. Variety of breakfast options and lunch meals aswell as mixture of sweet treats.
Also a bunch of friendly staff that looked after us while we visited ☕☕🥑🥑🍞🍞
Simple menu with excellent food. Very fresh and tasty. Delicious Sri Lankan beef curry with fresh coconut chutney. Best mango almond cake still warm from oven and great coffee, friendly staff. Lovely courtyard garden with sandpit for kids. It will be our stopover on the way to Castlemaine.
What a find! The food was wonderful- the Pan rolls are yummy, and the smashed avo was one of the best we've had. Everything is made using produce from their mini- farm which I think makes it that little bit more special. I'm a big coffee snob- and am very happy to find another place which I can rely on for good coffee. Lastly the service was excellent- we were welcomed from the moment we walked through the door and felt very much looked after. It's so great to see people loving what they do and doing it so well. We will be back soon.

We stayed at Spring Hill for the weekend and on our way home, we stopped for Mother’s Day Brunch at Home Grown on Piper. It had a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. I’m a meat lover so I ordered Rosita’s Beef Panrolls which I loved. That said, I also loved the All About Autumn vegan dish that my husband ordered. My daughter loved the Salami Turkish Bread and my son was happy with his kids’ burger. Would drop by here again during our next visit to Kyneton.
Had a lovely lunch with my gorgeous girls. Food was amazing as always! Great service by the staff. Salad of the day is always top notch and I look forward to coming back here and trying something different every time! THE CHIPS AND PANCAKES WERE AMAZING!
This is a lovely cafe which is quite busy even on a Thursday. I had the vegan version of the Green Galore which has a lot of favours and the serving portion is generous. The service is fast and staff are attentive. I would like to come again to try other yummy vegan dishes
The service was fantastic, all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The cafe itself is cute and comfortable. Unfortunately I ordered the nourish bowl with the miso mushrooms which I'm sorry to say was really overpowering in flavours that just didn't work together. My husband had the curry (in the stuffed eggplant) which he said was quite bland. Thumbs up for the mango lassi and the pan rolls.
Lovely and cozy cafe. Me and my family had a delicious brunch. I usually order chai latte and most of the times I regret because it doesn’t taste good but there was different, beautiful chai latte worth trying again. Highly recommended.
The service here was amazing. The food and coffee are also quite good. Only one star is lost due to price, however I definitely recommend people visit this place. Great experience overall.
The staff were nice and friendly. It’s a good place to chill out and enjoy some fresh delicious dishes! Love the home owned farm produce with simple yet delish seasoning :)
