Beautiful cafe with great food and delicious looking cakes. I had the risotto off the specials board, the serving size was just right and the service was fantastic. To top it off we spent time looking at the beautiful array of goods in the gift shop. Definitely recommend a visit.
Montclair is a French inspired gift shop with so so many beautiful things for the home and jewellery and lots lots more. And the Cafe there Madam M is also French inspired with delicious food and the lovely lady the served us our lunch made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend a visit there is you are in Latrobe.

The atmosphere and vibe of the cafe is really nice, with delicate paintings, exquisite decos and calming music in the background. There's a big courtyard and it's really nice to sit outdoor and enjoy the atmosphere.
I did not like the coffee (it tasted bitter to me and the milklab soy milk tasted a bit weird?) but someone else might appreciate it. ☕ The staff member is pretty friendly. I came on a Wednesday afternoon and the cafe was quiet, which is good for people looking for a place to chill on a weekday.
They offer a range of cakes and treats in-house, and a fantastic selection of wine available.
They have a cute little shop at the front that sells various items, the shop opens a little later so if you arrive earlier for coffee or brunch you can enter the cafe via the courtyard at the side of the building.
When you 1st walk into this timeless place, you feel you have walked into a piece of history. It has been remodelled with care and love and it shows, taking into consideration of the great service and customer care. To listen to the history and hard work from the owner himself was such a pleasure, to sit and enjoy fresh Home-made scones, jam & cream, a piece of Carrot cake ( yum)with an awesome cappuccino. For a small amount of time the rest of the world didn't exist till you walk back through the gates onto the side walk. Thankyou 💜

This is a beautiful little cafe.
The staff member was extremely friendly and knew how to make a good coffee. The Banoffee pie was delicious as was the Carrot cake. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Latrobe
Nice lunch in a pretty location. Good for meeting up with friends and eat a filljng meal.
These guys are awesome ! Was looking for face masks and they let me text them and ask for a couple of days whether they were in or not , then when they came in they messaged me and they had heaps of really cool designs , and their shop is full of very cute stuff ... thanks soo much 😊😊
Enjoyed the cake and cup 9f tea so much.. the gift was a interesting place to wander through and buy pressies!
What a little gem! Was thrilled to find this cafe on my last day. Beautiful decor and food was beautiful! The shop is worth a visit to be taken back in time and find a pretty trinket to take home
