Finally got around to having dinner here tonight and will definitely be going back! Japanese inspired menu using local produce. The lamb skewers from the hibachi were some of the tastiest skewers we have ever had outside Japan. Well thought out wine / alcohol list compliments the food.
This is a great little restaurant. It is quite a small venue, so definitely book ahead. It has a good ambience and some tasty food. The service was efficient. The food was all nice, but I didn't find it amazing. My favourites were actually the vegetarian dishes we got. The Vietnamese coffee granita dessert was also pretty yummy. The accompaniment with the fish was average. The fried chicken was soft and not crispy.
The restaurant was full, so we sat outside. Even though it was cold outside, we are so glad we stayed. We had Sichuan Dumplings, Chicken Karaage, Tempura Cauliflower, and Beef Tartare. Delicious!
Great drinks list too, including local wines, shochu, and Sake. If I could pass an idea to the owner, it would be that I'd love to order warm sake please!
Service was friendly and knowledgeable and food was excellent. Thank you!
