Went for the monthly pagan dinner and impressed is definitely one of the words I'd use, great service, brilliant time management of having nearly 50 ppl eat round the same time, staff know when to crack the whip and when to have a laugh with us was impressive!

I've yet to be impressed with the meals. They are okay; I wouldn't go here specifically for the food. But it's a nice tight pub with plenty of outdoor space. Free function rooms as well. Also, cider on tap, which I appreciate.

Went to the Gunner's arms a little while ago.
They serve alcohol. Which is pretty convenient for a bar.
I get the general impression that it's a pretty good bar as there's a bloody Yak's head sticking through the wall.
Obviously he was in a bit of a hurry to get there and missed the door.
He shouted me a drink, and as you do at a bar, we had a bit of a yak.
I ended up a little too drunk to drive, so I bought some strange dude a dozen drinks to give me a ride home. Didn't take too long before I started to regret that deal. Wrote off that dozen, bought a Yak saddle (yep, sure did), and ol' mate yackety yack gave me a lift.
5 out of 5 stars, would definitely have a yak there again. ��

Thanks so much for providing a beautiful venue for our wedding reception alecia and ado! You were so accommodating with everything we wanted, and really went above and beyond! Even let us rearrange the restaurant during business hours to see how we wanted it! all the with no venue hire fee! You and your staff are beautiful, and are so great at what you do! You also have the best pub meals in town and we will be returning for many years to come. we couldn't thank you all enough. See you soon xoxox

Thought I would give you another chance after having a horrible experience a few years back and once again a horrible experience. Rude waitress who was even rude towards my 1 year old son and cold over priced food. Also not great the fact that there was no pram access which made it even harder which resulted in meeaving straight after I ate my cold meal

We had our reunion at the gunners last weekend and found the staff nothing but helpful and the venue was exactly what we wanted. The platters were generous and great value for money and drinks were at a reasonable price! We also had a meal here in the weeks leading up to our reunion and they were faultless also! Thanks for making our night so special :)
