Service is great, feels good to be pampered by the wait staffs, despite at the busiest times. They have good selection of food, portions are generous, quality of food is very good. Price is reasonable for its quality. Only gripe is the restaurant looks a little aged. Otherwise deserves a try
Food was quite large portion, the pasta was delicious and fresh. The cheesecakes are always nice and reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and the restaurant is quite big. Great place for family dinner.
Italian home style cooking. Very nice family friendly restaurant. A bit of an institution in Mackay. If possible, see if you can dine in the “outdoor-indoor” alleyway with the murals for extra ambience. It’s always buzzing and they have a changing specials menu. Highlight was the Prawns entre we got- Chili and garlic olive oil and very fresh big prawns. Everything very tasty. Homemade gelato served with desserts was the only real let down- the pistachio tasted like marzipan…
Food was tasty; really nice pizza (good crust and cheese) and pasta (chilli prawns!). Service was great, and the gelato was awesome!🙂
Restaurant had a nice layout and atmosphere. Great menu with reasonable prices. Also an extensive cocktail menu at good prices. We ordered the crab pasta and a roasted pumpkin salad and a side of vegetables and it was all delicious. Excellent service too.

Food was incredible, huge portions affordable prices, great cocktails. We had the seafood fettuccine miso. Came here on a Sunday night for dinner turned up without a reservation, the place was fully booked but they did a quick shuffle and we were seated quickly. Service was second to none and everyone was super efficient and had a smile on their face. Couldn't fault anything about the whole experience. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be returning here. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Loved it.
Edit: Have since been back for a take away, fabulous. Huge serving great price, fast service. Definitely my favourite Italian restaurant by far.
The staff were great, the food was to die for and they cater for gluten-free! The great thing about Sorbellos is that you can guarantee the same quality and standard every time. I have even had takeaway, heaven in isolation and it was amazing!

When it comes to Italian I am fussy! As my partner is from Milan. This is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Australia. Every time I come to Mackay I always come for a meal or two here.
This time we started with bacon and cheese bread. It was nice, just wish it was more garlicky. The waiter said it was garlicky! But it was not.
I had the penne con Sicilian spicy pork it was hands down on of the best I have ever had. It was super garlicky but could still feel the rosemary. It is spicy but not over the top!
My friend had the seafood pizza she loved it also.
I had the seafood marinara before it had a great selection of seafood, was hands down one of the best I’ve had from a restaurant.
