Lunch Special - $18.50. The best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Crumbed Red Throat Emperor with Chips and Salad. The fish was soft and fluffy, with a nice crunchy crumb (not the battered alternative).
Chips were identical, big crunch, with soft center without that oil soaked taste. Brilliant!
I recommend making a booking. We were walk-ins and lucky to get one of the last 3 tables available. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant and the food was great. We had natural oysters that were a decent size, a wagyu steak cooked perfect medium rare, garlic bread, a prime rib also cooked perfectly medium rare, and drinks. The mushroom sauce seemed to be handmade but don't quote me on that. It was really good. Side salads were fresh which was a plus. Highlight for me was the lemon, lime and bitters. You wouldn't believe how many bar staff butcher this drink. This place however, made it pretty decent. I'd visit again.
I have been a couple of times now and the steak is so wonderful to eat..the salad is great with the chips. I have had the fish and it was lovely as well.. The Deck Steakhouse has my vote any time....😃😃

Very busy tonight, amazing atmosphere, service and food!! Meals were fast for a busy restaurant and great prices!! On holidays but definitely will recommend to anyone and be back whenever in the area 🙂 well done to the busy staff tonight, hope your boss appreciates all the hard work!
