I think this place has been open about a week, it’s beautiful. Great food and very accommodating staff, music is top notch, facilities are par excellence and the range of drinks available is first class. A must visit if you are in the area

Governor Hotel in Macquarie Park has a roof top bar called ESS and is hosting Mexican Happy Hours on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Woo Hoo! . On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, you can enjoy $3 tacos all day. Then there's the $6 Margaritas and $6 Seis Hermanos Mexican Lagers that you can order from 4pm to 7pm. This sounds good to me baby!
Awesome multi level bistro/pub, offering very good rooftop bar and great pizza. We dined on busy friday night without booking but bistro food ready in timely manner (10min) and staff very attentive.
Nestled away in Macquarie Park, this pub is a winner. We had a few beers on a hot night, and shared a few plates of food - brocoli and cauliflower salad, chat potatoes and a italian sausage pizza. The food was tasty and the servings were enormous and reasonable prices.
Nestled amongst office buildings in a precinct not known for their food scene, The Governor presents an exciting new dining and bar destination for weary workers and the local community of Macquarie Park. With beautiful modern finishes mixed with exposed brickwork and timber accents, the Governor Hotel presents an upscale touch to the pub scene.
We enjoyed a great family lunch on a Sunday in one of their booth tables. Excellent menu options for all ages, diets and food preferences as well as full bar offering wine, cocktails and usual mixed drinks. The porchetta for main and hot brownie for dessert are very tasty. We did not get a chance to enjoy the rooftop bar and terrace so head up and try as well.
Great food - not too expensive but yummy and filled me up ! A good sign - have 2 more floors with pool tables, pinball and darts ! Oh and an upstairs open air bar / club

The food is great. Hot, fresh, and plenty of it. Perhaps a little on the pricey side given the location, but the quality, service, and ambience all make up for that.
The Governor sports bar had a fun vibe, and the bistro is really open and happening. Pretty accessible too, with ground floor wide doors, and wide entranceways between tables.
Usually it's a good idea to book, especially on the week-ends.

The way to the rooftop was hard to find but once you get there, it's nice. Great food!
Came here to attend a birthday event and was greeted with a great atmosphere! The rooftop area was airy and spacious, with a decent menu selection for food and drinks. The bar is accomodating too. Greeted with live music which was nice but the singer kept singing country which wasn't my taste but still welcome. It also has an arcade for additional activities. Overall a great spot for groups, the birthday girl was pleased and a good experience overall!
I have held several work functions at The Governor Hotel and they never disappoint! Such a lovely venue with many function options and spaces. The staff have always been amazing.
Love the whole set up. A place for everyone.
