This is a great restaurant in Macquarie Centre to enjoy some Vietnamese dishes. The interior and decorations are beautiful and the lighting is dim which lets you relax after doing some shopping.
I ordered a rare beef pho and it was nice. The presentation was beautiful, especially the bowls they use. The meat was tender and the broth was very flavoursome. I also tried the salt and pepper chicken ribs which were quite enjoyable. The service was above average.
This is a good place to go with another person or solo, as the tables are quite small and there isn’t much room for groups. Overall it fulfilled my pho cravings and made both my heart and stomach full.
This place is a hit or miss. On the occasion, their Beef Pho is flavourful and hearty, and the meat isn't always tender, other times the soup seems watered down. They use many fresh ingredients, including in the bun. This is a great place for a lunch or a pho fix.
Very good Vietnamese food, especially relative to the other Vietnamese options in the area
Excellent pho. Great soup base, very tasty.
The Vermicelli is also very good, but it is a little spicy.
Seating area is quite small and cramped, and the bathroom is outside the restaurant around the corner (but very close)
Had one good dish 👍🏻 and one bad dish. 👎🏻
The good dish was the Scotch fillet cubes wok tossed with red rice. The beef was tender, flavoursome & full of wok hei. There was a generous amount of salad on the plate for a well balanced meal.
On the other hand, the Bun Bo Hue, Spicy beef noodle soup with pork was below average. The broth was nothing like the usual Bun Bo Hue I have been eating in other Vietnamese restaurants. It’s supposed to be a clearer soup with a layer of chilli oil on top. It should be balanced of spicy, sour, salty and sweet flavours and the predominant flavour of lemon grass. However I could not taste anything of that except for a normal Pho with a hint of spice, which was hard to notice. The size was relevantly small compared to other places, but the price was extravagant. 😬
I’m not sure about their Pho or other dishes, but I think I prefer to go to Cabramatta/Bankstown/Riverwood for a more authentic Vietnamese cuisine. 😗
Solid food. Beautiful ambience. Prompt food service. I was pleased very much with my meal. Just wish they wouldn't use MSG. But would definitely recommend for a solid Asian feed.
Terrific restaurant!
I ordered seafood egg noodle soup and chicken fried rice. $32 for both. Yummy. Nice staffs. Good for lunch and dinner. 4th floor of the shipping centre so it is convenient
Awesome Hot and spicy beef noodle soup with Pork! This soup is hearty, full of flavour and fresh. The beef pieces are delicious and the pork strips add extra flavour. You may want to request a bib, as you'll want to rip into this soup with gusto and splashes will occur - this soup will be super in winter. Such good value for a meal at $13.90. We also ordered crispy spring rolls which were fine and prawn and pork rice paper rolls which may have had a tad too much vermicelli, but if you're hungry just douse them in more hoisin sauce and dig in. All good stuff :) Service courteous and speedy
We eat here often. At least 5+ times so far. We love the chicken ribs, pork chop, sugar cane juice with strawberry, and pandan creme brulee. Very pleasant meal for under $20 per head.
Food was delicious and not a long wait considering it was quite a busy restaurant
Great range of options (including vegetarian) on the menu
Staff were very helpful and polite
Great atmosphere and pretty lanterns
Situated humbly in the Macquarie centre, offering authentic Vietnamese food.
My friend tried to convince me to eat at the popular TGI Fridays. But my craving for Vietnamese food brought us here.
Welcomed by the pleasant and courteous staff we were warmly welcomed despite coming in at almost closing time.
We ordered chicken pho and also tasted the crispy chicken as a starter and some refreshing tea.
The light broth and fresh ingredients were simply delicious and very authentic as I've had in other parts of the world.
I highly recommend this restaurant to my fellow foodies.
