The most diverse menu, relaxed & welcoming, coolest hang out in Mandurah BY FAR!! The staff are super friendly, helpful and go out of your way to welcome you into the cafe. Wether your feeling healthy or naughty the menus caters for all the cravings !! (Personal fave the chia pots, homemade muffins & tumeric lattes!! (Oh and leah's brewed chai tea ) LOVE how they are more than just a cafe too- such a community feel with their markets and meet ups just for the Mandurah peeps- how lucky are we?!
Amazing coffee, yummy food, friendly staff & beautiful space. More than just a cafe! Cannot recommend mataya highly enough
Top 5 coffee Ive had in my life, amazing long mac and great roast. The sausage roll was delicious, and friendly staff with quick service. Disappointed with the eggs on toast, there definitely are much better options for this dish, but the coffee, service is one of many reasons to visit 🙌
Fast and friendly service, good coffee in a welcome and relaxed atmosphere. There's a wide selection of food and sweets available from the counter, as well as some interesting and fun items for sale on the back wall.
Plenty of street parking available, and outside dining too.
Staff were wearing masks when we went in - good to see they care about everyone's health.
With a super friendly atmosphere it is a great place to go for coffee, lunch or something a bit more substantial.
Found this fantastic place in Mandurah, food, coffee and wellness products and gifts, staff super friendly ,very efficient and fast service, well worth the visit.

Delicious Oat milk flat white, one of the best I've had in Mandurah . Frothin Coffee Roasters was the other .
I had a toasted sourdough Mushroom pesto and cheese sandwich lots of filling hot and very tasty, the slices go for around 6.5 and a good size. But lm impressed with the coffee nothing annoys me more than paying full price for bad coffee. The staff are super friendly and helpful, really nice to walk into a Cafe and just get good service. There is a gift warehouse range inside the eatery as well, reasonably priced.
I'll be back.
Mataya was like a home away from home little Cafe with a warm welcome presence soon as you step foot inside... You are welcomed by a set of French doors and a few different seating options are awaiting for you to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate or cappuccino along with home-based Oat slice that just melts in your mouth or be indulgent and get the snickers bar...
If you would like something for lunch then you can choose from ham and cheese and tomato filled croissants or a toastie to name a few...
If you are after a gift for yourself or for someone else you will have that special something here...
Try the sleep balm it is beautiful and will help soothe the mind...
Love it, love it, love it ❤❤❤
I was here a week ago, it was Sunday so pretty busy. So many people were in a line waiting for coffee. We ordered Eggs Benny with bacon and Hollandaise croissant and 2 iced coffees. Food came out pretty quickly, only took about 5-7 mins, and they were 10/10. I had been looking for a perfect brunch like this for a long time, poached eggs cooked beautifully. We were waiting quite long for the coffee, but we totally understood, they were super busy for take-away coffee. And when they brought the coffee to us, they apologied and I would like give them more than 5⭐ because of the service. I forgot to say that the coffee tasted really good. I will definitely come back here if I go to Mandurah again.
Great coffee, simple yet delicious breakfast items. The vegan crepe was exceptionally good, we were blown away! Sweet potato fillings with cheese and pesto sauce, plain heaven. Bacon and eggs were pretty good too. We were there for a quick breakfast before heading to Margaret River. Definitely a great choice to stop over for coffee and breaky.
Warm, inviting, accomodating and friendly. Something on the menu to suit everyone.
