It's definitely worth the visit!
Friendly, laid back atmosphere and staff, serving delicious home made pasta dishes and desserts.
I ordered the spaghetti marinara and homemade tiramisu which I can highly recommend.
To top it all off the views of Sydney harbour are amazing!!!
Can't beat that view! Lunch menu is limited though and a bit on the pricey side. A lovely treat nonetheless
Stumbled across this cafe when we were visiting the north head look out. Beautiful view of the Sydney harbour, tried the mussels and calamari share plates, both very fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly. Would recommend as good food and great views.
Friends and I had lunch up here over Easter. The coffees were amazing, the bacon and egg rolls were perfect! Simply delicious.
The views were worth the visit alone haha
That w a second coffee ana banana bread and I was in heaven... for a short time anyway lol
Lets start with the view. There cannot be a restaurant in Sydney with a better view than Bellavista.
Love this place, its relaxed and fantastic in food wise. Enjoyed chicken wrapped with pancetta and lovely steak. Dessert are excellent too; pannacotta, tiramisu... Fantastic place. Strongly recommended!!
Nice food, feels even better when you are sitting outside and have a scenic view of the Sydney harbour, albeit can get cold during winter days. Also just be wary of those sneaky kookaburras while having that suasage or bread ;)
I am impressed, what a value for money
and what beautiful and relaxing views!!!Top Quality Full Italian Restaurant,
Don't be fouled by the name...
the chef can cook any type of the
Italian finest dishes out there,
I am trying every weekend a new one,
never been let down so far...
I have Eaten with my whole family since
Valentine day :-)
But please do not book my table!!! :-(
This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Manly. I recently had lunch at this restaurant / cafe and was treated to some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I had the veal scaloppine with lemon and it was just amazing. The mushroom pasta with Italian sausage was so flavoursome. I just returned from Italy five months ago and I would have to say this restaurant was authentic and better than many of the restaurants I ate in in Italy. Well done Bella Vista..
Given how remote (yet beautiful) the setting is, I'm surprised anyone has managed to make this cafe viable. But what's more surprising is that the food is really good. It's simple, yet very well done. And yes, service here can be a bit vague and slow
I mean, who wouldn't love a nice sunny day at the North Head, eating Italian food sitting under the big fig trees? Well if you like that idea, this is the only place to do it. Fortunately, the coffee and pasta are pretty good. Service just a tad slow (more time to enjoy the breeze). Be aware of Currawongs, they might snatch your bread bits and sugar sachets.
Diana. Called in here on a very wet & miserable day for coffee. Waited a while to be served & the coffee was average, although I do enjoy Toby's Estate this was not a strong enough pour for me. Nice enough place to stop for a bite on sunny day I would expect, the interior is very welcoming & bright with lots of artwork to browse
I can see why this place gets so packed! Toby's Estate coffee and a great breakfast menu in addition to superb views out to South Head and miles out to sea - what's not to love?
The Nutella French Toast was some of the best I've had: soft and light brioche French toast sandwiched with a generous amount of Nutella and served with lots of beautiful sliced strawberries and bananas.
The friendly service and sitting in the dappled shade of sprawling fig tree just topped it off.
Wonderful way to start the day.
