Went here for lunch yesterday and had the Falafel bowl followed by the lime pie for a yummy treat. Both were super tasty and delicious. Plenty of dishes are gluten and dairy free. The staff were very helpful and friendly and The Cook Room is in a Great location on Manly Beach. Have ordered on Deliveroo on quite a few occassions and love the Lasagne as it is super delicious. Outstanding food quality, the taste was of the best I've had in the local area. Surprising to hear they have been here over a year as I'd never known about it. My partner was vegan and found the options fantastic. The wine and beers come from local and sustainable producers which were amazing. Top it all off with some really great service. Can't wait to come back.
Best hole in the wall healthy option in manly. Quality food, small kitchen, big culinary experiences. I love meat on my plate/in my dish, but This place makes me routinely go with Eggplant Lasagne over Beef option as it sits easy and tastes unreal.
The whole menu is solid, unique, and elevated. Take away portions are solid, and staff are super nice, small spot so if you need to sit inside call ahead to book!

We arrived fairly late on Saturday night - the waiter was super attentive, knowledgeable about where the food was sourced from and nothing was too much trouble.
Amazing fish tacos, nice setting and the special dessert was incredible. Will certainly be coming again and recommending to friends.
My new favourite dinner place to go with my girlfriend. Amazing food, fast service and the bench outside is a great location for people watching. I would recommend a dish but they are all phenomenal. Though for dessert, the hazelnut tart or the ice cream sandwich will change your life. I am thankful this place exists and I will keep going back!!
Incredible place! Wonderful organic and healthy food. Fish tacos were a solid 8/10 but just lacked a little flavor. Perhaps some lemon or Chilli or a sprinkle of salt to give them a little edge would make them a 10/10. Definitely worth a try!
The Cook Room offers a casual but intimate environment in a cosy venue. Service was personal, friendly and efficient. I stayed at the apartments next door so had two meals here equally delicious. Great for dietary restrictions as most meals are DF and GF compatible. I highly recommend the Hazlenut Chocolate Mocha Tart with Coconut Icecream, which was refined sugar free but still tasted indulgent.
