Conveniently located by the kids playground down by the beach in Clontarf Reserve, the kiosk offers fast takeaway coffee service (Toby's Estate).
Clonnys on the beach. Had Mothers Day lunch at Clonnys.
Not many people know of this place but it truly is a beautiful place.
Clonnys food was beautiful....and quiet cheap...$55 for 2 courses and $65 for 3.
I had the scallops with parsnip puree....didn't think parsnip could taste so good with duck as main and my partner had the house cured king salomon with the lamb loin. They were all so Great!!!
We shared the white chocolate log.....yum.yum.
The young couple next to us were trying the food for their wedding... what a perfect place for a wedding....
Beautiful water right in front of us...,children playing outside in the park...,with wonderful service...
THANK YOU CLONNYS ...for a wonderful Mothers Day. Lisa 15.may 2012
A food critique. Always had a great time here
Decent coffee (not great, nor bad), great breakfast burger (loads of filling!) and decent fish and chips. Good service too, and reasonably priced for the beach.
Nice venue, beautiful location, breakfast menu is great and lovely service.
Recommended for breakfast and lunch.
Yet to experience the newly refurbished cafe. The small shop/take away makes the best burger on the North Shore, great chips and coffee. See you again soon xx
The young staff are second to none. It's the easiest thing in the world to be 'nice' - but they're actually kind. Delicious burger dripped all over my hands it was so succulent, and I didn't mind a whit. It was also so hefty I couldn't even get halfway through it. My $4.00 all-natural ice block was worth every dollar, so I'm not sure what the surly bloke elsewhere was on about. I enjoyed the lack of chemical emulsifiers, thickening agents, etc. I got to taste food instead. Bargain!
As I live in the area I was looking for a venue to host a gathering of around 45 - 50 people for my wife's 40th Birthday and it really was an exquisite choice. The Kids were well entertained by all that Clontarf has to offer and the food, service and experience as a whole was brilliant and all our friends thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks to Christine and her team for a wonderful time, my wife was really happy with the choice.
I stopped here for a coffee after rowing one day. While we weren't dressed the part in bare feet & wet clothes, we were still welcomed in to order just a coffee mid morning. The coffee hit the spot, and service was good. What was GREAT was the location. It's situated right at Clontarf Beach with views across to Spit Bridge. There's a hive of activity on the weekends, with lots of kids, dogs and picnics. Plenty of parking also, however it's quite expensive in the metered areas. Opt for the neighbourhood streets a short walk away if you don't have the spare change!
I am vegetarian and stopped ordering gnochis in Sydney because of the portion were sooooo small. But the gnochis have been exquisite and the portion was huge. My wife had the pork burguer and it was amazing too. The view and the energy of the place is great....will come back for sure...
