We enjoyed a night here and were seated by the window to take on the views of the sea. Prices are reasonable and the food portions are great. Food was delicious and staff offered excellent service - very welcoming and accommodating. Really enjoyed it and we will be back!
It's not like me to keep coming back to the same restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries, but Manly Pantry impresses every time. Beautiful location by the beach, lovely food, great service. 5 Stars!
What a not so hidden gem! I forgot how good the Pantry's breakfasts are. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and made our visit. We came here with a $100 voucher bought for us as a gift by a friend. It is great they have a regular big breakfast as this isn't on many breakfast menus anymore. We will be back for sure.
Got there on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Crowded but we had a reservation so that saved us. Service was good, food was delicious, and the views were wonderful! Def worth a visit, but bookings are required.
Love this place. Great spot and arguably one of the best views you can get, right on the promenade. Great attention to details in the internal decor and interior design - wooden panels throughout the cafe (including in the bathroom) which creates very cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly service with a smile. Great local coffee roaster - One Barrel from Brookvale. Great food! Try the polenta porridge which is a special, nice and creamy with a twist of caramelized walnuts.
A bit expensive, but absolutely worth the price.
Beautiful bay view, great breeze. Very pleasant aesthetic, music was ambient but never overwhelming.
The mint came through the halloumi and accented it beautifully.
The garlic bread was fantastically oiled and crispy.
Service was prompt and attentive. Starters came out with the cocktails.
The signature cocktails were delicious.
Mains came out ~15 minutes after we finished our starters, plenty of time to digest.
Our mains were two orders of the king prawn salad, and a free range chicken supreme.
The mash was smooth and delicious, flavorful and kept the sauce well. The parm covered everything and was present without being overwhelming. The chicken was tender and moist and paired well with everything.
The prawn salad came with yet more halloumi, and was well coated in citrus dressing, which complemented the walnuts and prosciutto. The prawns were perfect. The avocado provided an excellent contrast.
We enjoyed every aspect of the Pantry. Great food, terrific service, very reasonable prices. I was so impressed by the ambience, and with the windows open to the view and fresh air, it was a marvellous experience.
