I remember coming to Anglers back in the day on a Sunday afternoon and it would be absolutely packed! There was always a good crowd and DJ. Times have changed as when I visited recently the ambience was more of a chilled and family crowd, in saying this it was still a good atmosphere (maybe I am just a little older now and my party days are over!!) haha
A good selection of beer on tap and great outdoor seating, lots of tv screens surrounding the outside area should you like to have a drink and watch some sports. There was also a 2 piece band, they sounded good and they added to the chilled vibe.
I didn't try any food so could not comment on that, all in all a great local pub which I will try and visit again.
Had a quiet lunch here on a Wednesday and think it was brilliant, sat outdoors and the refurb looks great. Place is clean and makes sense to order and get a buzzer, I had Wednesday special which was the Parma and it was delicious! My daughter had calamari she loved it and my mate the chicken salad which looked great and she said was yum! I would recommend and I would return . Good job anglers !!
Really love anglers trvern ever since there renovation! It’s really the place to be on a Friday afternoon, great choice of drinks, food is great, and service is always happy and helpful!
Was here on Sunday with my parents and partner to celebrate both of our Anniversaries, We have been here three times and will continue to do so.
Restaurant overlooks the Maribyrnong river and the view is stunning.
Ordered the Pumpkin & Macadamia Nut Salad /c Calamari. Fresh and flavoursome. Calamari cooked to perfection.
Lucky to have come on a day where they had the band playing in the bistro area.
First time back in a few years and we were pleasantly surprised! A lot of variety for the family and the food was good pub fare! The beer garden was most enjoyable, especially on a balmy summers night! Sure to return.

You get up to order. And depending on where you are seated you either get food delivered or you collect it from the counter.
Open walled indoor seating in spring. Lovely atmosphere but gets fresh at night.

We found that once it got busy and everyone was seated the chairs tended to get blocked into pockets within the bistro which meant you had to get people to move to get by. Generally you could go a longer way around but sometimes there was no avoiding it.
Accommodating staff. Relatively loud ambiance. Nice live band for a Saturday arvo.
Descent sized meals and some are quite tasty, particularly the salt & pepper calamari, Thai Beef salad and their succulent Angus beef burger with fat chips. They have a small but good selection of beers on tap and their bar is fully loaded.
I guess it's improved since their new management as it was outdated, run down and quality of food was poor but the new owners ramped it up.
Been going for over 20 years and I think the bistro seating area close to the kids playing section needs to be redesigned with maybe new seating arrangements, new decor, rip the carpet out and pop new floorboards. I'd probably look at changing that kids play room and upgrading it with new hi tech games and possibly making it a sectioned room (glass all round) so that the parents can watch their kids. All This could give it a classier look and appeal and maybe plant some sports memorabilia, a huge LCD and take advantage of the river views!
It was delicious meal. The food were so enormous that we cannot finish it. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and polite people to serve. We can bring our pets for watching the view
Ate here with a group on a Monday night. It was parma night so of course we all ordered parmas. Service was pretty quick and parmas were great. Chips also nice and cruchy, but the salad needed more dressing. The portions were big and no one on our table managed to finish the plate.

Pub food but good oub food. And nothing lovelier than enjoying it on the river. Live music on the weekends. If you want to sit inside you made need to book.
I've been coming here for years, and I always enjoyed their outdoor area, especially when it’s a sunny day. I always come here with my family and friends. We love their food.
I noticed they have a new menu, which is a great selection. I love the cider on tap!
This place is pram and kids friendly and has plenty of parking. It can get hectic, so best to get there early to get parking.
Enjoyed a lovely roast beef meal with my partner on Sunday and it really reminded us of a home and the Yorkshire pudding was a nice additional.
The staff were friendly and the service great.
Looking forward to visiting again.

We were seated inside but there are plenty of out door seating as well, Almost all are facing Riverside, so no complaint what so ever on the view. Could get bit crowded so better go bit earlier, speciality on weekends and game day nights.
Nice place. The location is great, lots of greens and the Maribyrnong creek by the side. I came here for an end of the year party, I’m intrigued to come back in regular days. Take your time to find a parking spot.
Had a nice dining experience tonight. Despite being very busy, meals came out quickly and staff were friendly and resolved any issues we had. Meals were huge and great, we were all very satisfied. We dined with two kids and it was a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
