By far the best place I have eaten on the coast! The meals are such good value for money, are so delicious and fresh and tasty! We have had steak, seafood and chicken here on multiple occasions and it is always AMAZING! Both times we had our main meals take-away and they were packaged so well by the time we got home to eat our meals, everything was still perfect! And the staff are super helpful and friendly! Would highly highly recommend.
Had a great experience at the Red Sea Restaurant last night! Friendly staff, great table and the seafood platter for two was fantastic. The seafood was fresh and the arrangement with the fruits and flowers was very nice. Didn't have a lot room left but was so glad we ordered dessert. The Turkish delight pav was unbelievable and the chocolate mango panna cotta was awesome . Noddy's desserts alone are worth coming here. Will be recommending to all friends and work mates. Thank you
Had lunch here the other week and the food was pretty good, I had the fish of the day with chips, tartare and salad for $17. Fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy batter and chips were also very nice. Restaurant was surprisingly empty but maybe it's more of a night time place, I'm not sure but still worth a visit if you're after some nice seafood.
Really friendly staff, the girls are very polite and helpful. Nice fresh seafood and good sized portions.
Open all day so you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner and roll out full as !!! Great location if you are staying on the river as just opposite Big Top.
Update -28/02/19 Had very yummy breakfast here, nice soft poached eggs đ as ordered.
They also do takeaway fish and chips.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The ladies that served us were incredibly attentive and friendly. Chef even came out and asked out how our meals were and we could barely answer between mouthfuls! Barramundi and Bugs cooked and presented to perfection. This is the most impressed I have been with food and service in a long while. Thank you!

Red Sea came highly recommended to us. My wife and I consequentially dined there two nights ago and I can say that the seafood we ate was absolutely exceptional!! The servings were larger than expected, the quality and freshness and flavours of the barra, prawns, calamari were as good as you will get. Even the salad was way above average for presentation, variety and freshness. Drinks were kept up, no waiting for service, very friendly young staff and management went out their way to describe the food and ensure our enjoyment! Go There!!!!!

The food is fantastic! The seafood is so fresh and the salads are also just as good. The size of the meal is huge, so much so that my husband had to eat half of mine as I did not want to waste those prawns. The only downside is that the ambiance for lunch is not great but I understand that they are opening a new place just across the road which will have a better feel. Could not fault the service and the staff were friendly and efficient. It is now one of our favourite places to go.
Dined here tonight after reading positive Google reviews, what a treat! This place is worth a visit! This family run restaurant prides itself on freshness, quality and quantity. Their staff are very welcoming and personable. We very much enjoyed our seafood platter and are looking forward to a return visit to try some of the other delicious items on their menu.
I came to Maroochydore for a business trip and arrived quite late. I was looking for a nice seafood restaurant to eat at and found Red Sea. Even though they were totally packed they were able to accommodate me. The staff were all super relaxed and friendly. They said I may have to wait to get my food which wasnât a problem. Itâs a family owned business and Orien found time to chat with me and we had a great conversation. She told me that they had just won a prestigious award that she proudly showed me. I had the lobster and prawn platter and it was perfect. The portions were generous and the price was good. On top of the great service itâs two thumbs up for me.
Omg!! What beautiful presentation!! Not only did we ring three minutes before the kitchen closed, the chef's were happy to help. They created a menu option into takeaway; seafood platter for two. Great money for awesome fresh value.. beautiful friendly staff which showed great service. I wish we were local of would be our go to restaurant every weekend
A great find. An extensive menu that will have something to please everyone. Great service. Serving portions are large. My steak was cooked to perfection (Something that seems to be difficult for many places these days). Will definitely be back and would recommend.
Good seafood, amazing calamari & prawns!!
We came here and ordered a seafood platter on the recommendation of our B&B hosts. It was extremely good value with a great selection of cold and hot seafood. We werenât particularly impressed by the oysters â they natural oysters were a little small and the oysters Kilpatrick were smothered in a strange tasting sauce mixed with cheap commercial bacon cubes. The best things on the platter were the calamari and the prawns. Instead of ordering a platter weâd probably just order that next time. Our friend ordered the eye fillet medium rare â and it looked well done to me. Service was a little slow and slightly haphazard â we only received our meals one hour from the time that we arrived at the restaurant! But the staff were friendly and BYO is a plus!
Wow! We were totally impressed with the seafood platter for 2. Honestly, the best fresh oysters I've had in years, the rest of the seafood was excellent. The sauces were home-made, making a lovely change from the regular sugary tartare and cocktail sauces. Service was great, and it's understandable why they were almost fully booked on a Tuesday night!
We have had the most delightful meal .. the steak and prawn topper was amazing and literally the best meal we have had in ages .. service was amazing and the dessert sticky date pudding was to die for ..Oriane was absolutely amazing and such an asset to the business .. cannot recommended highly enough
