I definitely recommend coming here if you love good vegetarian food. My sandwich was huge and extremely filling. The bread was super soft and I loved the seeds on top.
Located in Marrickville, Two Chaps is a cafe where all dishes including bread and pastries are made from scratch. You can see all the beautiful treats in the front counter such as brioche donuts, tarts and croissants. They take care towards food production and consumption and use local suppliers for their goods. It’s a cafe and bakery by day and selling a set menu by night on the weekends.
Amazing food! I have been a couple of times and every time the quality and quantity of the dishes have been great. My only complaint would be the coffee is a little bland.
Tried their cinnamon scroll and pizza, very busy cafe even during restriction period.
Everything is good at Two Chaps! I have been there several times, never been disappointed. This vegeterian cafe is my favorite in Sydney. And I am not even vegeterian. I lived 10years in France, their pain au chocolat is top quality! Well done guys!
I love this place! Hidden away in an alley in Marrickville, it’s always super busy! They are known for their fresh, healthy meal options, particularly offering a range of vegan and vegetarian options. Their menu options are so unique and wholesome, and taste delicious. They also do dinners with rotating pasta and Italian style dishes. Definitely will be back.
Food was great - I recommend the vegetarian burger and the fried potato peels. The place is so cute too. Unfortunately the staff were grumpy and snarky which added some tension to what would’ve been a 5/5 lunch.
So, walking up Chapel Street in Marrickville, this is a really non-descript street, some businesses which look like they’ve been around for a long time, a school, a boxy old office building. And then BAM. There’s a cafe, full, with a line outside of it, buzzing with hipster energy and caffeine. Welcome to Two Chaps, Marrickville on a Sunday morning.
Coffee was really good! I am passionate about food and I like opened kitchen's cafes. They are actually serving good quality food. They know what they are doing.Congrats chefs!
Service was excellent, the waitress helped me with the menu. I recommend this place
Two Chaps is located in what looks like someone's garage, with a from-scratch cooking philosophy serving up antipasti and pasta to friendly locals. So far, so Marrickville. However this place is worth the trip, with house-made grissini accompanying pickled vegetables and hummus, delicious pastas such as pillow-soft ricotta ravioli, and a few stand out desserts such as olive oil cake or tahini ice-cream sandwich. The menu changes weekly apparently, which is a sure-fire way to keep the crowds coming back. With a $55 set menu, it's some of the best value going around. Highly recommend.
Funky warehouse vegetarian cafe hidden in the backstreets of Marrickville. We had the smoked eggplant burger and brown rice bowl - both were very tasty and full of flavour. The service was polite and friendly. We will definitely be back to try the other meals! Highly recommended!
It is a super busy cafe with a long queue. However, the vibe was good and service was nice. The food and drinks were delicious, I would recommend the gailan fried rice! Also you must try their donuts. The only downside was the leakage from the ceiling...we were having some random drops of water splashed into our cups and food. Otherwise, the overall experience was great.
Insanely amazing experience, wow!! The food was exquisite, the people are SO nice, and it was just so cool how it’s set up - fixed price, fixed menu, everyone in the restaurant seated at the same time. Perfect for a birthday dinner or special occasion. But also.. the meal was one of the best we’ve had in years. We will be bringing every family member here, one by one. Can’t wait to come back!
How could anyone say anything bad about this place? Prepare for a small wait on arrival - it’s popular. All the dishes appeared to be meat-free but what they offered was insane.
We have the Fried Brown Rice Bowl and Smoked Cheddar Ciabatta - it had house made Kimchi and it was insane.
The ambience is good - speaks Inner West for days.
Top notch eatery right here! Didn't even miss the proteins, a yummy menu across all 4 dishes we tried and the drinks were fantastic, high quality and delicious matcha and chai. Top it off with some baked treats for the ride home and you have a very happy little Vegemite 😊 😀
I had a soy cap and my friend had an ice latte. The soy flavour was kind of strong so it affected the taste of the coffee.
But they were friendly and the atmosphere was quite hip. I want to have a brunch here later.
One of the best meals of my life, and I’m not even vegetarian!!
The fixed price set evening menu is well thought out, exciting and surprisingly filling. Come hungry!!
Simply amazing 👏 😍. Two chaps has the best food! A nice and cosy place tucked away, hidden between houses. Food options are great and very helpful staff. Definitely a repeatable visit. Can't wait for the next round.
