Nice cafe, great coffee and good food. The lady who served us was lovely as well. The dirty bird Benedict is a must try!
Despite being quite a large cafe, you could easily walk past Roastville without ever realising it is there as the discreet entrance to the cafe blends in with its surroundings. As the name suggests, they roast their own beans and do a fantastic coffee, with the option of dining at a small outside terrace or lovely light flooded space inside.
Excellent cafe with coffee roasters in the background. Friendly service and good, honest food. Coffee tasted fantastic.
Garage style cafe on the main road with great coffee and food. Got the karrage chicken burger and cold drip, defs will be returning in the future.
Very friendly people running this excellent cafe. This place ticks all the brunch boxes. Nuanced food, gorgeous coffee and speedy service. Not to mention that their prices are the very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate frequenting this spot.
One of my favourite local eateries, I can't seem to stay away from it for more than a week. They've got a fresh, experimental menu and the presentation is always stunning. Always the first place I'll take my friends.
The avocado smash is the best I've had from absolutely anywhere. The serving size is large and they are generous with the dukkah and the pesto is a lovely accompaniment. I'm not usually a pancake person but the ricotta hotcakes are also fantastic and the presentation is otherworldly.
When I come here for lunch I usually get the karaage chicken burger which is also one of the best I've had at a cafe. My boyfriend got the kimchi waffles once and they were also pretty nice. Definitely an interesting menu, not just the same recycled items.
They've got an interesting selection of smoothies and the peanut butter lover is really something. Coffee has never disappointed me either.

Fantastic house brewed coffee in a factory setting of the Main Street so no traffic to annoy you. The food is excellent with some combinations really working.
Stumbled across this place in desperate times and it came through with the goods. I highly recommend the karaage chicken burger for a great hangover cure!
Hip space with fun vibe and very busy, clearly has a loyal client following.
Service a tad variable - some staff are great, know there shit and and just lovely. Others seem a bit new and unsure - so depends on who you get.
Coffee was smooth but a tad on the weak side for me.
Menu is one of the more creative around with a big influence from southern USA, lots of fried chicken on the breakfast menu.
The kimchi waffle with fried chicken was the standout dish for me, chicken and waffle was delicious and the spicy mayo had a great kick that made the whole dish pop. The chicken is super well done, so tasty and chunky real Chicken that somehow manages to taste healthy - could not detect much oil despite the fact that it’s clearly fried.
The Karrage Burger which my friend had raved about was disappointing. There was just so much salad and salad dressing in it that it quickly turned into a bit of a soggy mess. I think less would be more here.
After moving to Marrickville it took some time to find one, but this is my new favourite local café! Great coffee, yummy food, friendly staff and great atmosphere (music, heating, interior design!). Go check it out you won't regret it. :)
We are return visitors to this great little cafe and the food and service never disappoint. The falafel plate and chicken salads were yummy and you definitely can’t go past a side of the spicy fries! For those with limited ability there are some steep stairs at the entrance and street parking isn’t very easy. The cafe does have a chair lift, I suggest calling ahead to make sure that’s working. Highly recommend a visit and the coffee is also great.x
Came in for Sunday lunch, and first time impression is this is definitely a hipster spot, young, nice food and nice vibe. I'm a tea person so didnt take advantage of their coffee roaster there. Apparently they have coffee taster events.
Food was on the small side but also affordable. I was definitely still wanting more after that plate. It was more like a sandwich with all those items laid down on a plate.
Tea was in nice teapot. The place was tightly packed and quite noisy. Got better when large groups left.
Staff could be friendlier with smile and more welcoming.
Excellent coffee, amazing food, great ambience and super friendly staffs. The cafe is my favourite in Marrickville. Every visit at this place is enjoyable. They also have coffee capsules which are compatible for Nespresso coffee machine. I’ll definitely come back to try more dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.
I loved the warehouse vibe, and the warm lighting was so welcoming from the rain today.
Coffee was great, really unique brew that you can buy straight from the cafe (wonderful display by the way!)
However, when a waiter listens to your order without noting it down, you always have that little niggle that they didn't catch what you said. Unfortunately they got our order wrong twice and had to keep trying again.
Bit bizarre, recommend using a notepad next time please.
the coffee ☕️ is great and the food is delicious! the portion size is also generous and was very full afterwards 🥹
particularly enjoyed the dirty bird benedict as everything was well-seasoned, just make sure u have an empty stomach before you go 😂
I came here on a Sunday morning (peak hours), waiting time was a little long around 10min, but the exteriors kept me occupied while the wait.
I ordered a dirty Benedict. It’s a oily fatty dish but quite delicious, it gives a sort of burger feeling at the end. Corn bread in this dish is heavily buttered, which is why it’s dirty.
My mate ordered chill scramble eggs, which was delicious as well. The only thing I would recommend the cafe is that do NOT put the eggs on top of bread, because bread got soggy very quickly.
Service staff was friendly but a lack of consistency. We were seated for a while until we got served some tap water. However, the couple sitting next to us got served water and coffee order straight away after seated.
So final verdict: I recommend this cafe and I’ll come back to try another minced lamb dish.
Hands down one of the best soy sticky chai lattes in Sydney. I love how they brew the chai with fresh Spices instead of the powdered type. The soy milk was so frothy and delicious! I didn't even know you could froth soy milk that much.
Also loved the ricotta hot cakes. Though, I'd recommend sharing this one, got a little too sweet for myself.
Roastville is a great go-to for coffee or brunch. I’ve been numerous times and enjoyed the crumpets, pastries, lemon meringue, and of course, the coffee! There are plenty of options for returning customers and the interior is spacious and homely.
